DOMESTIC DISHWASHER
20250098934 · 2025-03-27 ·

A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity, and a receptacle for items to be washed. The receptacle can be shifted into and at least partially out of the dishwasher cavity. An electric motor having a motor parameter is designed to shift in a driving state the receptacle into or at least partially out of the dishwasher cavity and is decoupled in a free-running state from the receptacle and/or disconnected from a power supply. A detection unit detects a blockage of the receptacle and/or a stop request of a user as a function of the motor parameter, and a switching unit switches the electric motor into the free-running state as a function of the detected blockage or the detected stop request.

The present invention relates to a dishwasher configured to perform a separate storage mode and a single drying course including only a single drying step by using a sorption drying device to meet a user's need to perform only an step of quickly drying dishes and the user's need to store dishes in a clean state for a long period of time, thereby significantly improving user convenience.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING CLEANING PERFORMANCE OF A DISHWASHING APPLIANCE
20250089978 · 2025-03-20 ·

A method for improving cleaning performance of a dishwashing appliance includes implementing, via a computer application, a filter cleaning process for a filter assembly of the dishwashing appliance. The filter assembly is positioned at least partially in a sump in a bottom wall of the dishwashing appliance. The filter cleaning process includes prompting a user to remove the filter assembly from the dishwashing appliance. Further, the filter cleaning process includes initiating the dishwashing appliance to fill and drain the dishwashing appliance for a predetermined time period to flush the dishwashing appliance of residual particles remaining in the sump. Moreover, once the filling and draining is complete, the filter cleaning process includes prompting the user to reinstall the filter assembly in the dishwashing appliance.

Method for remotely controlling a cleaning cycle of a household appliance

A method and system remotely controlling a cleaning cycle of a household appliance using transmission of wireless signals is provided. Signals are transmitted between a mobile dispensing device arranged in the household appliance and an electronic device. The method determines the strength of a signal received by the mobile dispensing device. The determined strength is compared to a threshold value. If the determined strength is above the threshold value transmission of wireless signals from the mobile dispensing device to the electronic device is enabled. If the determined strength is below the threshold value transmission of signals from the mobile dispensing device to the electronic device is disabled. When transmission of signals is enabled, a status wireless signal comprising status information about the cleaning cycle is sent to the electronic device.

MACHINE LEARNING CLASSIFICATION OR SCORING OF CLEANING OUTCOMES IN CLEANING MACHINES
20250072703 · 2025-03-06 ·

An automated cleaning machine includes a trained cleaning outcome classifier that automatically classifies or scores cleaning outcomes for a cleaning machine using machine learning techniques. The cleaning outcome classifier may be trained on training data comprising a plurality of training inputs and a known output for each of the plurality of training inputs. Each of the plurality of training inputs may include one or more cleaning process parameters corresponding to a cleaning process executed by a cleaning machine executed during a training phase. The known output for each training input may include a cleaning outcome classification or score. The cleaning outcome of a novel cleaning process may then be classified or scored with the trained cleaning outcome classifier based on one or more cleaning process parameters corresponding to the novel cleaning process.

MULTI-STAGE DISHWASHER DRYING SYSTEM
20250072704 · 2025-03-06 ·

A dishwasher includes a drying system that incorporates a mixing conduit that mixes air streams from an exhaust fan that draws humid air from a wash tub, an inlet fan that supplies ambient air to the wash tub, and a gate device that is movable within a range of positions to regulate fluid flow through at least one of first and second inlets of the mixing conduit. A controller may perform a multi-stage drying operation that, in a first stage, controls the gate device while the inlet fan is deactivated, and in a second stage, additionally controls the speed of the inlet fan while controlling the gate device.

WAREWASHER WITH HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

A warewash machine for washing wares includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having at least one wash zone. A waste heat recovery unit is arranged to transfer heat from exhaust air of the machine to incoming water traveling along a water flow path through the waste heat recovery unit to a booster heater of the machine. A refrigerant medium circuit includes at least a first condenser arranged to deliver refrigerant medium heat to the incoming water. A control arrangement monitors subcooled refrigerant medium condition and responsively modifies operation of one or more of: (i) speed of a compressor of the refrigerant medium circuit, (ii) speed of an exhaust fan that causes air flow across the waste heat recovery unit or (iii) speed of a pump that controls incoming water flow along the water flow path.

WAREWASHER WITH HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

A warewash machine includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having at least one wash zone. A refrigerant medium circuit includes a first condenser and a second condenser, the first condenser located upstream of the second condenser in the refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant medium circuit includes a first flow path through the first condenser and a second flow path in bypass of the first condenser, and a valve for selectively controlling whether at least some refrigerant medium flows along the first flow path or the second flow path.
