DAMPER CONTROL DEVICE
Provided is a damper control device that exerts appropriate damping force to improve ride quality in a vehicle even when the vehicle gets over a projection on a road surface, the damper control device including a correction unit that corrects the damping force of a damper based on information from which a temporal variation amount of a damper velocity of the damper can be grasped and level information from which a damping force characteristic level that is the magnitude of a damping force characteristic of the damper can be grasped. The damper control device can suppress occurrence of distortion in a characteristic of transmission damping force regardless of the magnitude of the damping force characteristic level, and does not cause a lack of the damping force by reducing the damping force more than necessary when the damping force characteristic level is small.
SUSPENSION CONTROLLER AND SUSPENSION APPARATUS

The current limitation setting unit is configured to change the current limitation value based on the duty ratio set by the duty ratio setting unit.
VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS
A vehicle height adjustment apparatus includes a control device. The control device controls the opening degree of the solenoid valve to allow a movement amount of the support member to reach a movement amount target value that corresponds to the vehicle height set in advance, in accordance with the weight applied to the vehicle. The control device controls the opening degree of the solenoid valve to change the movement amount of the support member based on a difference between a value based on the information related to the vehicle height and a vehicle height-related target value, on condition that the movement amount of the support member reaches the movement amount target value and the value based on the information related to the vehicle height obtained by the information obtaining device does not reach the vehicle height-related target value that corresponds to the vehicle height set in advance.
SUSPENSION CONTROLLER AND SUSPENSION APPARATUS
A suspension controller includes a target current setting unit, a current limitation setting unit, a current outputting unit, a current detector, and an estimated temperature calculator. The target current setting unit sets a target current value. The current limitation setting unit sets a current limitation value. The current outputting unit supplies a solenoid with a current that is based on the target current value, the current limitation value, and a power supply voltage. The solenoid controls a damping force of a suspension. The current detector detects a current value of the current supplied to the solenoid. The estimated temperature calculator calculates an estimated temperature of the solenoid based on the current value detected by the current detector so that the current limitation setting unit changes the current limitation value based on the estimated temperature.
Vehicle height adjustment device
A vehicle height adjustment device includes a changer, a detector, and a controller. The changer is configured to change a relative position of a body of a vehicle to an axle of a wheel of the vehicle. The detector is configured to detect the relative position. The controller is configured to control the changer to change the relative position based on a detection value detected by the detector so as to control a height of the body as a vehicle height. The controller is configured to control the changer to maintain the vehicle height when there is a possibility of a malfunction in the detector.
Ride performance optimization in an active suspension system
An active vehicle suspension system includes an active damping mechanism operatively coupled to a vehicle wheel and configured for controlling a damping force applied to the wheel responsive to a control signal. A controller is operatively coupled to the damping mechanism and configured for generating a control signal to the damping mechanism responsive to velocity of the wheel in a downward vertical direction. At least one of a timer threshold and velocity threshold, used to determine whether a vehicle wheel has encountered a depression in a road surface, may be varied on a basis of a speed of the vehicle. A damping mechanism for a rear wheel of a vehicle may be controlled on a basis of how a damping mechanism for a front wheel is controlled.
Vehicle height adjustment device
A vehicle height adjustment device includes a changer and a controller. The changer is configured to change a relative position of a body of a vehicle relative to an axle of a wheel of the vehicle. The controller is configured to control the changer to make the relative position a target value so as to control a vehicle height of the body. The controller is configured to control the changer to maintain the relative position when there is a possibility of a malfunction in a detector configured to detect a parameter for control.
STEERING SHOCK ABSORBING STRUCTURE FOR IN-WHEEL MOTOR AND METHOD THEREOF
A steering shock absorbing structure for an in-wheel motor includes: a steering input unit configured to detect a steering angle of a steering wheel; a steering unit fastened to the steering input unit, and configured to steer a wheel according to the steering angle of the steering input unit; a tilting unit having a first end connected to the steering unit and a second end connected to the wheel, and configured to be tilted with respect to the steering unit; and a controller configured to selectively drive the tilting unit.
ELECTRONIC SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A system and method are provided for configuring suspension ratios in a multi-rear axle vehicle, the vehicle having a drive axle suspension and at least one tag axle suspension, each suspension having one or more air springs. The timing of the performance of an adjustment cycle series of steps for adjusting the suspension height and air spring pressure readings is optimized by monitoring the acceleration of the vehicle and conducting the adjustment cycle steps when the vehicle acceleration is below an acceleration threshold. Additionally, air spring pressure adjustments may be scaled based on a confidence factor of the air spring pressure readings. Finally, a method is provided for configuring suspension ratios in a multi-rear axle vehicle, the vehicle having a drive axle suspension and at least one tag axle suspension, and for adjusting the air suspension pressures.
