A dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, includes a control device configured to perform a number of washing programs for washing items to be washed, and an input means configured to register a user input for shortening a running selected washing program. The control device is configured to adjust the running selected washing program as a function of a registered user input in such a manner that a remaining washing time of an adjusted selected washing program is shortened compared with a regular remaining washing time of the running selected washing program.

DISHWASHER, METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HANDLING CLOGGING CONDITION
20190357749 · 2019-11-28 ·

A method for handling a clogging condition in a dishwasher may include detecting the clogging condition; upon detecting the clogging condition, interrupting a wash cycle of the dishwasher and executing a remedial operation to remove the clogging condition. The remedial operation may include executing a drain operation for a predetermined drain time during which a drain pump may be continuously or intermittently operated to drain water from a sump of the dishwasher; following the drain operation, executing a fill operation for a predetermined fill time during which a fill valve may be continuously or intermittently activated to add water to the dishwasher; and following the fill operation, executing a circulation operation during which a circulation pump may be continuously or intermittently operated to remove the clogging condition. A dishwasher and a control system for handling a clogging condition are also provided.

METHOD OF SEPARATING CHEMISTRIES IN A DOOR-TYPE DISHMACHINE

The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes at least two tanks and methods of using the tanks to isolate, substantially isolate, or incrementally isolate different chemistries from each other during a cycle. The disclosed dishmachine design and method allows for the use of two different, and potentially incompatible, reactive, or offsetting chemistries to be used in the same dishmachine cycle.

CONTROL METHOD FOR WATER DIVERSION DEVICE, WATER DIVERSION DEVICE AND DISHWASHER

A control method for a water diversion device, a water diversion device and a dishwasher. The control method for a water diversion device includes: acquiring a target state position to be reached by a water diversion piece; acquiring the current state position of the water diversion piece; controlling a driving component to operate, and counting the number of signals actually received; on the basis of the target state position, the current state position and the number of signals actually received, determining whether the water diversion piece has reached the target state position; and when the water diversion piece has reached the target state position, controlling the driving component to stop rotating.

CONTROL METHOD FOR LAYERED WASHING IN DISHWASHER AND DISHWASHER

A control method for layered washing in a dishwasher and a dishwasher itself, which includes: S101: determining a rack that holds items to be washed; S102: determining a first spray water path corresponding to the rack that holds the items to be washed; S103: controlling a water divider piece to rotate to a position that opens the first spray water path, thereby connecting the first spray water path to a water supply device and closing other spray water paths; S104: performing a pre-washing step, so that the spray water path sprays towards the rack holding the items to be washed. The method first determines the rack holding the items to be washed, and then determines the first spray water path of the rack, so that the first spray water path is connected to the sink, and other spray water paths are blocked from the sink.

DISH WASHING MACHINE WITH HEAT EXCHANGERS
20190307307 · 2019-10-10 ·

A dish washing machine including a housing having an interior wash space for washing dishes. The housing has a liquid inlet for adding a liquid to the dish washing machine. At least one spray nozzle sprays the liquid onto dishes positioned within the interior wash space. The machine further includes a heating tank for heating the liquid which is supplied to the at least one spray nozzle for spraying onto the dishes in the interior wash space. At least one heat exchange system is within the housing. The at least one heat exchange system transfers heat from the liquid heated by the heating tank to the liquid added to the dish washing machine from the liquid inlet.

Dishwasher and control method therefor

A dishwashing machine is provided to include at least one spray part spraying washing water, a vane provided to be movable and deflecting the sprayed washing water, a rack accommodating tableware to be washed by the washing water deflected by the vane, a detection part detecting the tableware accommodated in the rack, and a controller generating position information with respect to the tableware detected by the detection part and controlling an operation of at least one of the at least one spray part and the vane based on the generated position information.

Dishwasher comprising a reservoir and associated preheating method

A dishwasher includes a reservoir for storing washing fluid, and a control device configured for calling up at least one dishwashing program for controlling a washing cycle for washing items to be washed in a washing chamber and at least one preheating program for controlling a preheating cycle for preheating washing fluid for a washing cycle separately from each other. The preheating cycle includes a heating phase during which washing fluid is circulated and the circulated washing fluid is heated. The preheating cycle has downstream of the heating phase a pumping phase during which previously circulated and heated washing fluid is pumped into the reservoir.
