Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher
11006810 · 2021-05-18 · ·

A dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, includes a control device configured to perform a number of washing programs for washing items to be washed, and an input means configured to register a user input for shortening a running selected washing program. The control device is configured to adjust the running selected washing program as a function of a registered user input in such a manner that a remaining washing time of an adjusted selected washing program is shortened compared with a regular remaining washing time of the running selected washing program.

Ware Washing Machine with Heat Pump and Modulating Valve
20210100422 · 2021-04-08 ·

A conveyor type ware washing machine uses a heat pump to reduce exhaust heat and to heat incoming water. A modulating valve is used to control incoming water flow through a heat exchanger of the heat pump. Processing circuitry automatically dynamically adjusts the modulating valve between a plurality of open states based on the sensed refrigerant head pressure of the heat pump, so that the refrigerant head pressure is maintained in a predefined range. The ware washing machine is efficient, and reduces the amount of heat exhausted to ambient. Related methods are also disclosed.

Method of separating chemistries in a door-type dishmachine

The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes at least two tanks and methods of using the tanks to isolate, substantially isolate, or incrementally isolate different chemistries from each other during a cycle. The disclosed dishmachine design and method allows for the use of two different, and potentially incompatible, reactive, or offsetting chemistries to be used in the same dishmachine cycle.

Dishwasher

A dishwasher includes a tub, a spray arm, a sump, a pump body, the pump body including a partition between first and second chambers, a communication hole in the partition that communicates with the first and second chambers, a pump flow path that connects the sump to the first chamber, an arm flow path that connects the spray arm to the second chamber, an impeller in the second chamber, a heating unit to heat water in the first chamber, a steam flow path that connects the first chamber to the tub, a connection flow path that connects the steam flow path to the arm flow path, and a flow path valve configured to close the steam flow path based on water being supplied to the connection flow path, and to open the steam flow path based on a lack of water being supplied to the connection flow path.

Dish washer

A dish washer and a control method are disclosed. The dish washer includes a sump and at least one nozzle configured to inject water. The dish washer also includes a distributor configured to receive water of the sump and distribute the water to the at least one nozzle. The dish washer also includes a reservoir configured to receive and store the water of the sump. The dish washer also includes a circulation path configured to connect the sump and the distributor. The dish washer also includes an inflow path configured to branch off from the circulation path to supply the water of the sump to the reservoir. The dish washer also includes a first valve configured to open or close the inflow path and a second valve configured to open or close the outflow path, and the outflow path is configured to flow the water out of the reservoir.

Intelligent dishwashing systems and methods

Example intelligent dishwashing systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a system includes an imaging system configured to capture at least one image of an article of dishware. A processing system analyzes the at least one image to determine a presence and a location of a stain on the article of dishware. Responsive to determining the presence of a stain, a cleaning system is configured to clean the location of the stain on the article of dishware.

DISHWASHING APPLIANCE HAVING A VARIABLE SPRAY ASSEMBLY TO ALTERNATE THE SPRAY OF WASH FLUID

A dishwashing appliance or variable spray assembly, as provided herein, may include a manifold body, a diverter valve, and a driver. The manifold body may define a fluid inlet, a first flow path, a second flow path, a first spray outlet, and a second spray outlet. The first and second flow paths may be downstream from the fluid inlet. The second flow path may be in fluid parallel to the first flow path. The second spray outlet may be spaced apart from the first spray outlet. The diverter valve may be mounted within manifold body and movable between a first zone position directing wash fluid to the first flow path and a second zone position directing wash fluid to the second flow path. The driver may be disposed outside of the manifold body to motivate the diverter valve between the first zone position and the second zone position.

DISH WASHER AND WASHING METHOD USING THE SAME
20210015337 · 2021-01-21 ·

A dish washer and a washing method using the dish washer. As an inner washing tub is rotated in a state where a dish or a cooking utensil is accommodated in a receiving space such that a food side thereof faces an outer circumference of an inner washing tub, food residues are detached from the dish or the cooking utensil by a centrifugal force and thus the dish or the cooking utensil is efficiently washed. The configuration for generating a high-pressure water current is not required, so that it is possible to produce products at low cost, and the configuration is relatively simple, so that it is possible to produce products having various sizes.
