Integrated air-supply unit
The invention relates to an integrated air-supply unit, in particular for air-suspension systems for motor vehicles, said unit comprising an air compressor having an electric motor and an air dryer. The air compressor together with the electric motor, air dryer and a number of pneumatic connections form a functional unit
OIL SEPARATOR
The objective is to improve the oil trapping rate of an oil separator. The oil separator (3) separates gas and liquid in air containing oil, recovers liquid that contains oil. The oil separator is provided with an introduction port (15) for introducing air, an oil trap (40) for trapping oil contained in air, a reservoir (48) for storing the liquid flowing out of the oil trap (40), and a discharge port for discharging air from which oil has been removed. The oil trap (40) includes a glass fiber filter (42) and an impingement member (41), which traps oil particles by causing the oil particles to strike the impingement member (41).
AIR DRYER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A PNEUMATIC VEHICLE SYSTEM
An air dryer system comprises a dryer inlet, a dryer outlet, a desiccant cartridge, and a dryer exhaust. The air dryer system comprises a purge valve including a first purge valve port connected to the dryer inlet and a second purge valve port connected to the dryer exhaust. The air dryer system comprises a switching valve including a first switching valve port connected to the dryer inlet, a second switching valve port connected to the desiccant cartridge, and a third switching valve port connected to the dryer exhaust. The air dryer system includes a solenoid valve assembly configured to provide pneumatic control signals.
COMPRESSED AIR RESERVOIR, COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE OPERATION THEREOF
A compressed air reservoir for a compressed air system, in particular an air spring system or compressed air-based sensor cleaning system of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The compressed air reservoir is configured to at least temporarily store compressed air generated by a compressor device, wherein the compressed air reservoir has a reservoir housing which forms an interior space for storing the compressed air which is controllably fluidically decouplable by way of at least one valve device. The compressed air reservoir includes an air drying device structurally integrated into the compressed air reservoir and holding a desiccant for drying the compressed air. Compressed air systems with the compressed air reservoir and a methods for operating the compressed air reservoir are also disclosed.
