DISH WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
It is an aspect of the present disclosure to provide a dish washing machine capable of actively responding to a problem when circulation of washing water is not smoothly performed by sequentially and selectively performing a bubble removal operation, a filter blockage removal operation, and a water supply operation, and a method of controlling the same.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR PERFORMING A QUICK CYCLE IN A DISHWASHER
Method for operating a shortened dishwashing cycle of a dishwasher, dishwasher configured for running the shortened dishwashing cycle and computer program product for operating a shortened dishwashing cycle of a dishwasher. The dishwasher (10) includes a tub (12) configured to hold dishware during a dishwashing cycle, at least one circulation pump (50, 250), at least one heating element (230), and a controller (40, 240) configured to operate the dishwasher. The controller (40, 240) is configured to operate the dishwasher (10) according to at least one of a normal dishwashing cycle or the shortened dishwashing cycle. The method includes providing a first amount of warm water to the tub (12). The first amount of warm water is greater than a standard amount of water provided to the tub (12) for the normal dishwashing cycle. The method further includes, while the first amount of warm water is being provided into the tub (12), pulsing the circulation pump (50, 250) based on a predetermined timing sequence and activating the heating element (230) to heat the water within the tub (12).
WAREWASHER IDLING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A warewash machine for washing wares includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having at least one spray zone. A spray system is provided in the spray zone for spraying liquid onto wares for cleaning. A tank captures sprayed liquid that falls within the spray zone. The tank includes a primary recirculation path for delivering liquid from the tank to the spray system, and a secondary recirculation path for delivering water out of the tank and back into the tank, without spraying within the spray zone, in order promote mixing within the tank.
SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHOD FOR PREVENTING OVERFILLING IN A DISHWASHER
A method, system, and computer-program product for preventing overfilling in a dishwasher are disclosed herein. According to one embodiment, a method for preventing overfilling in a dishwasher is provided, wherein the dishwasher includes a water valve for providing water to the dishwasher and a drain pump for removing water from the dishwasher. The method comprises detecting an overfill condition in the dishwasher with at least one detection device, wherein the overfill condition corresponds to a water level in the dishwasher that is greater than a predetermined threshold. The method further includes controlling the drain pump and the water valve in response to detecting the overfill condition in order to facilitate removal of the overfill condition.
Dishwasher with controlled rotation of lower spray arm
An automatic dishwasher having first and second sprayers located within a washtub, a diverter valve to selectively divert liquid flowing from the wash chamber between the first and second sprayers, and a drive system moving the first sprayer in the wash chamber.
Method for pumping a fluid out of an aquiferous household device
In a method for pumping a fluid out of an aquiferous household device such as a dishwashing machine, a drain pump and a circulation pump are operated at least partially simultaneously to ensure that, in the event of an abrupt stop of the circulation pump, reverse flow that may cause filter cake formed by separating soiling and particles to loosen resulting in their re-soiling of the items to be cleaned. The speed of the circulation pump is lowered from a maximum speed to at least a minimum speed substantially without pressure surges before startup of the drain pump.
Systems and methods for detecting appliance pump cavitation or dry state
Systems and methods for detecting appliance pump cavitation or dry state are provided. An exemplary appliance can include a current measurement circuit configured to provide a feedback signal that describes an inverter current drawn by an inverter providing three-phase power to the pump motor. A control unit of an appliance can detect pump cavitation and dry state by monitoring the feedback signal. Another exemplary appliance can include a motor speed detection circuit configured to provide a motor speed signal describing the speed of the pump motor. The control unit of the appliance can monitor variance in pump motor speed to detect pump dry state or cavitation. An exemplary method includes monitoring either an inverter current used by an inverter to drive a motor or a variance in a rotational speed of the motor.
Dishwasher appliance and a method for operating a dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance includes a spray detection sensor and a variable speed pump. Based upon signals from the spray detection sensor, a speed of the variable speed pump is changed. By changing the speed of the variable speed pump, a trajectory of wash fluid from a spray assembly of the dishwasher appliance is also changed such that the wash fluid is directed towards a detergent dispenser of the dishwasher appliance. A related method for operating a dishwasher appliance is also provided.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND A CONTROLLING METHOD FOR SUCH A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A household appliance includes a circulation pump for circulating dishwashing liquid in a washing compartment of the household appliance. A drain pump empties the dishwashing liquid from the washing compartment. For the purposes of ventilating the drain pump, a control device is provided to activate the drain pump after the washing compartment has been filled with the dishwashing liquid and before or during operation of the circulation pump.
DISHWASHER
The present invention relates to a dishwasher configured to perform a separate storage mode and a single drying course including only a single drying step by using a sorption drying device to meet a user's need to perform only an step of quickly drying dishes and the user's need to store dishes in a clean state for a long period of time, thereby significantly improving user convenience.
