Dish washer
Disclosed a dishwasher, wherein dishes placed on a conveyor are washed, rinsed, and dried while being sequentially conveyed to a washing chamber, a rinsing chamber, and a drying chamber, the dishwasher including: a heat exchanger allowing hot air to be supplied to the drying chamber by heat exchange; a wash water tank in which water supplied to the washing chamber or the rinsing chamber is stored; and a spray device spraying water supplied from the wash water tank onto the dishes placed on the conveyor, whereby it is possible to save energy by providing a single heat exchanger to preheat wash water and rinse water and supply hot air to the drying chamber, and to improve circulation of wash water by a filtering device applied to a structure for reusing wash water, thereby improving sanitation of dishwashing.
Washing pump and dishwasher including the same
Disclosed is a washing pump for spraying washing water or steam to wash dishes or cooking appliances, and a dishwasher including the same. The washing pump according to the present invention includes: a housing; a partition wall which is vertically divides an inner space of the housing; an impeller which is rotatably disposed over the partition wall in the housing to cause washing water to flow; a heater which is disposed under the partition wall to heat the washing water in the housing so as to generate steam; and a steam discharge pipe which is disposed over the partition wall to discharge the steam, generated by the heater, to an outside of the housing. Accordingly, steam may be generated by the heater and discharged.
DISHWASHER SYSTEM WITH A REUSE TANK
A dishwasher comprising a tub, a reuse tank, and a controller for implementing a wash cycle in the tub, the controller comprising a clock, the controller operably coupled to a recirculation pump and a drain pump, the controller configured (a) to cause the recirculation pump to supply liquid used during the wash cycle to the reuse tank, (b) to monitor via a clock a period of time that the liquid is within the reuse tank, and (c) when the period of time is greater than a predetermined period of time, (i) to cause a control valve in an outlet conduit to open and allow the liquid to flow from the reuse tank to a sump and (ii) to cause a drain pump to drain the liquid from the sump and out of the dishwasher.
CLEANING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING ARTICLES TO BE CLEANED
A cleaning device (110) for cleaning articles (112) to be cleaned is proposed. The cleaning device (110) includes at least one cleaning chamber (118) for receiving the articles (112) to be cleaned. In addition, the cleaning device (110) includes at least one application device (124) for acting upon the articles (112) to be cleaned with at least one cleaning fluid. The cleaning device (110) additionally comprises at least one cooling surface (158) which points to the cleaning chamber (118) and at least one cooling container (160) which is thermally coupled with the cooling surface (158) for receiving a cooling liquid. The cleaning device (110) comprises at least one control system (178) which is set up to control at least one regeneration step in the cleaning device (110). The regeneration step includes the following substeps: d) fill the cooling container (160) with cooling liquid; e) heat the cooling liquid in the cooling container (160); and f) remove the cooling liquid from the cooling container (160).
Pump and dishwasher comprising the same
The present invention relates to a pump and a dishwasher including the same. The pump of the present invention includes a housing having a cylindrical shape to contain water; an rotatable impeller to discharge the water in the housing to an external; a heater cover to form a bottom surface of the housing; a heater plate joined to a lower side of the heater cover; and a heater joined to a lower side of the heater plate to heat the heater plate. The heater is not in directly contact with the heater cover.
Heating assembly for a washing appliance
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber, a water storage chamber, an inlet defined in the tub and providing fluid communication into the wash chamber, and a heat pipe heat exchanger. The heat pipe heat exchanger includes a sealed casing, a working fluid contained within the sealed casing, a condenser section, and an evaporator section. The condenser section is in operative communication with the inlet upstream of the wet chamber. The dishwashing appliance also includes a fluid circulation system configured to deliver fluid to the wash chamber from the water storage chamber. The fluid circulation system includes a spray nozzle configured to spray wash fluid onto the evaporator section of the heat pipe heat exchanger.
Dishwasher system with a reuse tank
A method of operating a dishwasher includes a tub that at least partially forms a treating chamber and a reuse tank fluidly coupled to the tub for storing liquid from the tub for subsequent reuse in the treating chamber. The method includes supplying liquid from the reuse tank to the tub, sanitizing liquid in the tub by heating the liquid to a sanitizing temperature by operating a heating element located in the tub and maintaining the liquid at or above the sanitizing temperature for a sanitizing time period sufficient to sanitize the liquid, and supplying the liquid in the tub to the reuse tank after sanitizing to sanitize the reuse tank.
Method of controlling dishwasher
A method of controlling a dishwasher is disclosed. The method includes supplying water to a sump, driving a wash pump using a wash motor, introducing a detergent into a tub, and determining whether the amount of bubbles is excessive based on the value of current applied to the wash motor. The determining whether the amount of bubbles is excessive is performed after a lapse of a predetermined period of time since the start of the introducing the detergent into the tub.
METHOD AND AN APPLIANCE FOR WASHING AND RINSING GOODS SENSITIVE TO TEMPERATURE CHANGES
Provided are a method performed by an appliance for washing and rinsing goods, where some of the goods loaded into the appliance are sensitive to process water temperature changes, and an appliance performing the method. The method may include receiving via a user interface, an instruction that an appliance, during execution of a general-type washing program, should take into account that goods sensitive to temperature changes are loaded into the appliance, measuring a temperature value in a washing compartment of the appliance upon executing a draining process, and supplying fresh water to the washing compartment of the appliance. The method may include measuring, when the fresh water has been supplied, whether the process water being accommodated in a sump of the appliance is at a target temperature value or not and if not adjusting the temperature of the process water in the sump to attain the target temperature value.
METHODS OF OPERATING AND PROTECTING A DISHWASHING APPLIANCE FROM RUNAWAY HEATING CONDITIONS
