Vehicle air conditioner
A vehicle air conditioner includes: a refrigerant circuit which includes a compressor, an external heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an evaporator; and a cooling fan. The vehicle air conditioner further includes: a refrigerant temperature detection part; a vehicle environment temperature detection part; and a controller. The refrigerant temperature detection part is configured to determine the temperature of a refrigerant which flows into the expansion valve. The vehicle environment temperature detection part is configured to determine a temperature outside the refrigerant circuit under an installation environment. The controller is configured to control a speed of the cooling fan in a cooling operation time such that a cooling performance with respect to the external heat exchanger is decreased when the temperature difference between a determined refrigerant temperature by the refrigerant temperature detection part and a determined external temperature by the vehicle environment temperature detection part is equal to or less than a first set temperature difference.
Timed Auxiliary Automotive HVAC Apparatus
A timed auxiliary automotive HVAC apparatus for quickly regulating vehicle temperature upon entry includes a control housing coupled within a dashboard of a vehicle. A plurality of controls is coupled to a faceplate of the control housing. A CPU is in operational communication with the plurality of controls. A blower fan is configured to be coupled within the dashboard and to be in operational communication with a battery of the vehicle and the CPU. A heating unit, a cooling unit, and a diverter solenoid are in operational communication with the blower fan and the CPU to heat or cool the vehicle through a discharge vent passing through a vent housing.
Mounting arrangement for a heat exchanger
A mounting arrangement for a motor vehicle, at least having at least one heat exchanger and a protective element for the at least one heat exchanger, which with a grid structure through which a fluid may flow at least partially covers a surface, over which the fluid may flow, of the at least one heat exchanger, wherein the protective element is a component that is manufactured by an injection molding process, and has at least one sealing element, integrally formed on the protective element in a multicomponent method, for conducting flow of the fluid.
INDEXABLE VENT MOUNT
A vent mount including a base and a head coupled to the base. A retainer of the base is movable between an extended position for insertion into a vehicle air vent and a retracted position to capture a louver of the vehicle air vent to hold the vent mount on the vehicle air vent. The head is configured to engage with a case for positioning a handheld electronic device relative to the vehicle air vent.
VENTILATION SYSTEM AND ACOUSTIC MEMBER
A ventilation system with an inlet and outlet, the ventilation system being mounted to a wall, the ventilation system including: an acoustic member absorbing sound from the outlet; the acoustic member includes a film-like body portion opposed to the outlet, and a periphery portion disposed to connect the body portion to the wall, the periphery portion disposed to surround the body portion, the body portion defines a first air chamber communicating with the outlet and a second air chamber into which air flows from the inlet, a portion of an outer edge of the body portion is fixed to the periphery portion, and a remainder of the outer edge of the body portion is open and is a communicating portion allowing the first air chamber to communicate with the second air chamber.
Silencer having expansion chamber and partition
Provided is a silencer including: an expansion chamber having a cuboid shape; a first pipe for being coupled to a noise source, the first pipe being coupled to an approximate center of a first surface of the expansion chamber; and a second pipe coupled to an approximate center of a second surface of the expansion chamber adjacent to the first surface. The expansion chamber has an internal space and a partition in the internal space, the partition is disposed upright on a third surface of the expansion chamber opposed to the second surface of the expansion chamber to extend from the third surface toward the second surface, and the second pipe has a central axis substantially included in the partition.
INTEGRATED THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An integrated thermal management system includes a cooling circuit having a component thermal conditioning circuit, a battery thermal conditioning circuit, a cabin heating circuit, a cabin cooling circuit and a valve group configured for selectively interconnecting or isolating the component thermal conditioning circuit, the battery thermal conditioning circuit, the cabin heating circuit and the cabin cooling circuit.
Ventilation device for an interior of a motor vehicle and method for operating a ventilation device of this kind
A ventilation device for an interior of a motor vehicle includes a ducting system with at least one air duct and a blower via which an air flow can be generated in the ducting system. To allow active ventilation of the interior at particularly low noise levels, at least one sound transducer of the ventilation device is provided via which a sound pressure in the ducting system can be detected and a signal corresponding to the sound pressure detected can be transmitted to at least one second sound transducer of the ventilation device. In order to reduce the sound pressure, a counter sound pressure depending on the signal in the ducting system can be generated by the at least one second sound transducer.
VARIABLE-LENGTH TIE ROD MADE OF PLASTIC MATERIAL
A tie rod including a first tie rod part and a second tie rod part of plastic material, and a joint providing a length-adjustable connection between the first and second tie rod parts is provided. The joint includes a first and a second series of ribs made on the first and second tie rod parts, respectively. The first series of ribs is capable of engaging with the second series of ribs to define a relative longitudinal position of the first and second tie rod parts. The joint further includes a clip hinged to the first tie rod part and carrying the first series of ribs, the clip being foldable to snap onto the first tie rod part to lock an end of the second tie rod part within a seat of the first tie rod part.
