DISH WASHER
A dish washer effectively identifies a viscosity of a detergent stored in a detergent supply based on the number of revolutions of a roller sensed via a roller sensor and an operating time of a pump motor, thereby simplifying a structure, improving space utilization, and reducing a manufacturing cost as a separate electrode sensor or level sensor for identifying the viscosity of the detergent is eliminated.
Dynamic dispensing system
Provided herein are systems, methods, apparatus, and computer program products relating to a dynamic dispensing system. Embodiments may include a dishwasher including a washing chamber, a water supply, an additive supply, and a plurality of fluid supply lines that provide fluid communication between the water supply and the washing chamber and the additive supply and the washing chamber. The dishwasher includes one or more pumps that direct additives stored in the additive supply to the washing chamber and water from the water supply to the washing chamber. The dishwasher further includes a tank sensor within the washing chamber and a controller communicably coupled to the controller. The controller may receive and analyze signals from the tank sensor to determine an additive concentration within the washing chamber and cause additive or water to be added to the washing chamber in response to the signal.
Water-carrying household appliance
A water-carrying household appliance includes a receiving unit for receiving at least one signal from an external device coupled to the household appliance, a number of actuators for executing a plurality of programs, and a selector unit for selecting a program from the plurality of programs as a function of the at least one signal received. The actuators are controlled by a control unit so as to execute the selected program.
METHOD OF SEPARATING CHEMISTRIES IN A DOOR-TYPE DISHMACHINE
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes at least two tanks and methods of using the tanks to isolate, substantially isolate, or incrementally isolate different chemistries from each other during a cycle. The disclosed dishmachine design and method allows for the use of two different, and potentially incompatible, reactive, or offsetting chemistries to be used in the same dishmachine cycle.
Motor Driven In-Door Dishwasher Aid Dispenser
A wash-aid dispenser (20) for dispensing dishwasher detergent and rinse-aid employs a DC motor (46) and drive train (43) to separately actuate a door (23) for the release of detergent and a valve (21) for the release of rinse-aid allowing reduced noise and reduce energy operation using a single electric actuator.
AUXILIARY GRAY WATER SOURCE DEVICE FOR COMMERCIAL KITCHENS
An auxiliary gray water supply device captures used wash water from a commercial warewashing machine for supply to a pre-rinse station without substantial modification of the commercial warewashing machine. The captured wash water and treatment agent are delivered to a pre-rinse station for pre-rinsing of dishes that will be washed within the commercial warewashing machine.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, WASHING SYSTEM, AND WASHING APPARATUS
An information processing method performed with a processor includes determining whether a second dispensing amount of detergent to be dispensed in a washing apparatus in a scheduled first washing event falls below a threshold based on a remaining amount of the detergent in a detergent container of the washing apparatus and a first dispensing amount set for one washing event for washing a washing target, changing a third dispensing amount determined based on the first dispensing amount to be dispensed into the washing apparatus in a second washing event preceding the first washing event to a fourth dispensing amount equaling or exceeding the threshold when the second dispensing amount is determined to fall below the threshold, outputting information representing the fourth dispensing amount, and causing the washing apparatus to dispense the fourth dispensing amount of the detergent in the second washing event.
DISHWASHING METHOD
A method of washing ware in a dishwasher includes the steps of starting a dishwashing program; automatically locking the door and keeping it locked for the whole duration of the dishwashing program; and dosing at least 100 mg of active enzyme into the washing chamber. The dishwasher includes a washing chamber and a door to close the washing chamber.
APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATION
An appliance, system, and method for operating an appliance is provided. The appliance, system, and method are configured to execute operations including determining when a dispensing device for a detergent meets or exceeds a detergent level threshold, determining if a first wash mode corresponding to a performance wash mode is activated, and changing operation from the first wash mode to a second wash mode corresponding to an efficiency wash mode when the dispensing device meets or exceeds the detergent level threshold and the first wash mode is activated.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING PRESENCE OF WATER SOFTENER
An appliance, system, and method for operating an appliance and determining presence of water softener at water provided to an appliance is provided. The system is configured to obtain a first water hardness value; obtain a second water hardness value based on a location of the appliance; determine a ratio of the first water hardness value and the second water hardness value; compare the ratio of the first water hardness value and the second water hardness value to a threshold limit; transmit a first water hardness signal when the threshold limit is exceeded, wherein the first water hardness signal corresponds to the first water hardness value; transmit, to the database storage device, a second water hardness signal when the ratio is within the threshold limit; and adjust operation of the appliance based on whether the first water hardness signal or the second water hardness signal is transmitted.
