CABIN AIR FILTER WITH POLARISATION
A gas filter that includes a filter medium configured to filter a gas flow propagating from an upstream facing side through the filter medium to a downstream facing side. The filter medium includes a capacitor with a first electrode, a second electrode, and a dielectric medium. The gas filter also includes a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact such that the first electrical contact is electrically connected via a first resistor to a branching point and the second electrical contact is electrically connected via a second resistor the same branching point. Further, the first electrode is preferably electrically connected to such branching point and the second electrode is preferably electrically connected to the second electrical contact.
Ionization Device
The present invention relates to a glass parts release prevention, or specifically a glass splinter protection, for ionization devices, wherein a glass bulb 1 is at least partially covered by a polymer film 3. The electrode 4 is arranged within the glass bulb 1, and an outer electrode 5 is slid over the outer contours of the polymer film 3.
AIR FILTER UNIT
An air filter unit may include at least one ionization unit and at least one filter medium arranged downstream of the ionization unit. The ionization unit may include at least one corona discharge electrode, at least one counter-electrode, and at least one voltage source. The at least one filter medium may include at least one electret layer, at least one mechanically separating layer, and at least one electrically conductive layer adjoining the mechanically separating layer. In an airflow direction extending from an inflow side toward an outflow side, the electret layer, the mechanically separating layer, and the electrically conductive layer may be arranged one after another in this order.
POP-UP ROOF FOR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The invention relates to a pop-up roof for a recreational vehicle, in which at least one electric surface heater, in particular a heating foil, is integrated. The pop-up roof is in particular a pop-up roof, and the electric surface heater can be arranged on an upper shell, lower shell or a side wall of the pop-up roof. The invention is also directed to a recreational vehicle comprising such a pop-up roof.
HVAC System Air Filter
An apparatus and a method are provided for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system air filter for a building ventilation system. The HVAC system air filter comprises a supportive frame configured to orient the HVAC system air filter within the building ventilation system. A composite filter medium retained within the supportive frame comprises a cotton gauze portion and an electrostatic portion. The cotton gauze portion is configured for treatment with a filter oil composition to enhance airflow and filtration of air flowing through the composite filter medium. The electrostatic portion is configured to electrostatically attract and agglomerate airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as small as 0.001 microns in diameter. In some embodiments, the composite filter medium comprises substances configured to release a fragrance into air passing through the composite filter medium.
AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM
An air purification system for a vehicle cabin (12) of a vehicle (10) comprising a first seat arrangement (30) and a second seat arrangement (32), the air purification system comprising a first ionisation device (48) mountable in a first position (40) within the vehicle to impact air quality in a first region of the vehicle cabin (12) associated with the first seat arrangement (30); a second ionisation device (60) mountable in a second position (34) within the vehicle to impact air quality in a second region of the vehicle cabin (12) associated with the second seat arrangement (32); a user input arrangement (100; 120) configured to receive at least a first user command; and a control system (14) comprising one or more controllers, the control system configured to receive the first user command and generate a first control signal in response to the first user command to operate the air purification system in a first mode of operation in which both the first ionisation device (48) and the second ionisation device (60) are activated together.
Cabin air filter with polarisation
A gas filter that includes a filter medium configured to filter a gas flow propagating from an upstream facing side through the filter medium to a downstream facing side. The filter medium includes a capacitor with a first electrode, a second electrode , and a dielectric medium. The gas filter also includes a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact such that if the first electrical contact is electrically connected via a first resistor to a branching point and the second electrical contact is electrically connected via a second resistor the same branching point. Further, the first electrode is preferably electrically connected to such branching point and the second electrode is preferably electrically connected to the second electrical contact.
Controlling a HVAC system of a vehicle
The invention provides a control system (13) for controlling a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system of a vehicle (10). The control system (13) receives a cleaning cycle request (22) indicating a requested time to initiate a cleaning cycle performed by the HVAC system, the cleaning cycle being for reducing a level of one or more pollutants in a cabin (12) of the vehicle (10). The control system (13) determines, at the requested time, whether certain conditions are satisfied, including a condition that the vehicle (10) is not currently undertaking a vehicle journey. The control system (13) transmits a control signal (26) to control the HVAC system to initiate the cleaning cycle if it is determined that the conditions are satisfied.
Method for controlling two or more comfort functions of a vehicle and vehicle device
A method for controlling two or more comfort functions of a vehicle uses a controller, wherein a first comfort function is provided by a pneumatic massage system of a vehicle seat including one or more air cushions and an air supply system for individual air impingement of the one or more air cushions, and wherein a second comfort function is provided by an electromechanical vibration system of the vehicle seat independent from the pneumatic massage system and including one or more individually controllable electromechanical vibration devices. The method includes: analyzing a provided audio or video file taking the provided comfort functions into account; orchestrating the audio or video file by generating individual control signals for each comfort function the audio or video file after the analyzing; and synchronized transmitting the individual control signals to the corresponding comfort functions, whereby each comfort function is controlled by an individually assigned one of the individual control signals.
