Method and apparatus for treating an inside volume of a mobile vehicle
A treatment apparatus and method of treating an inside volume of a mobile vehicle using the apparatus. The method includes the steps of: a) placing a treatment unit in an operative position with respect to the mobile vehicle, the treatment unit having: i) a frame; ii) a source of UV light; and iii) an air mover for controllably directing air within the inside volume to be exposed to UV rays generated by the UV light source; and b) operating the treatment unit and thereby causing air within the inside volume to be disinfected by UV light rays from the UV light source and circulated within the inside volume.
DEODORIZATION MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
A deodorization module including a housing having a suction port and a discharge port formed therein, a fan disposed between the suction port and the discharge port, a photocatalytic filter disposed between the suction port and the fan, a light source module including a substrate and an ultraviolet light source and configured to irradiate the photocatalytic filter with ultraviolet light, and an ion generator disposed between the fan and the discharge port.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
In an information processing system, a strength acquiring unit acquires the strength of odor in a vehicle cabin of a vehicle. When the acquired strength of odor is equal to or higher than a threshold value, an output unit outputs information for requesting cleaning of the vehicle. A type acquiring unit acquires the type of odor in the vehicle cabin. When the acquired strength of odor is equal to or higher than the threshold value, a cleaning action determination unit determines a cleaning action for the vehicle based on the acquired type of odor. The information for requesting cleaning includes the cleaning action.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE WITH CLEANING DEVICE
An electric vehicle with a cleaning device includes an electric motor, a cleaning device connected with a pipe installed in a vehicle cabin, a first clutch that connects and disconnects the electric motor with an axle of wheels of the vehicle, a second clutch that connects and disconnects the electric motor with the cleaning device, a control unit that controls one of the first clutch and the second clutch to selectively connect one of the cleaning device and the axle with the electric motor and activate the cleaning device.
PHOTOCATALYTIC FILTRATION IN VEHICLE HVAC SYSTEM
A photocatalyst filtration system for a vehicle includes a housing having an airflow path, and a filter configured to filter air flowing in the airflow path, the filter having a first photocatalyst and a second photocatalyst. The system further includes a first ultraviolet (UV) light source disposed proximate the filter and configured to energize the first photocatalyst, and a second UV light source disposed proximate the filter and configured to produce light having a shorter wavelength than light produced by the first UV light source, and configured to energize the second photocatalyst. One of the first photocatalyst or the second photocatalyst is configured to remove odor from the air. The other of the first photocatalyst or the second photocatalyst is configured to remove bacteria from the air.
Method for preventing and handling in-car air pollution
A method for preventing and handling in-car air pollution includes providing an out-car gas detector to detect a polluted gas outside a car and transmit an out-car gas detection data; providing an in-car gas detector to detect a polluted gas in an interior space of the car and transmit an in-car gas detection data; providing an in-car gas exchange system for controlling and determining whether to introduce a gas outside the car into the interior space, where the in-car gas exchange system includes a cleaning unit for filtering and purifying the polluted gas in the interior space and a control driving unit for receiving and comparing the out-car gas detection data with the in-car gas detection data; and filtering and exchanging the polluted gas in the interior space after the control driving unit compares the out-car gas detection data with the in-car gas detection data.
AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Provided is an air-conditioning system including: an air pollution level detector configured to detect each of a pollution level of outside air, which is air outside a vehicle, and a pollution level of inside air, which is air inside the vehicle; and an air-conditioning control device configured to control air conditioning by switching an air-conditioning mode of the vehicle between an inside-air circulation mode and an outside-air introduction mode. The air-conditioning control device switches the air-conditioning mode from the outside-air introduction mode to the inside-air circulation mode based on the pollution level of the outside air acquired from the air pollution level detector, and switches the air-conditioning mode from the inside-air circulation mode to the outside-air introduction mode based on the pollution level of the inside air acquired from the air pollution level detector.
UV-C Illumination System For Disinfection
An ultraviolet C (UV-C) illumination system includes a central disinfection unit (CDU), a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) illuminator unit (HIU), and a beam scanning device. The CDU includes a fiber-coupled UV-C unit (FCU) configured to provide a UV-C light, a microcontroller, and a smart control unit (SCU) that controls each of the one or more FCUs by adjusting UV-C illumination by each of the one or more FCUs. The SMU communicates to the microcontroller to adjust energy consumption based on environmental data. The HIU includes fused silica rod to uniformly scatter the UV-C light to disinfect a surrounding area, with a light intensity controlled by the SCU of the CDU. The beam scanning device is coupled to the one or more FCUs. The beam scanning device includes a fiber and a lens disposed at a fiber tip of the fiber and configured to collimate the UV-C light.
