Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive and Liquid Crystal Cell
A pressure-sensitive adhesive and a liquid crystal cell including the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a pressure-sensitive adhesive having a storage elastic modulus of 700 kPa or more at a temperature of 25° C. and a frequency of 6 rad/sec, and a gel fraction of 35% or more, wherein the gel fraction is defined by Equation 1:
B/A×100 [Equation 1]
wherein, A is an initial mass (g) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive, B is a mass (g) of an insoluble content after the pressure-sensitive adhesive is immersed in a solvent at 60° C. for 24 hours and then dried at 150° C. for 30 minutes. The press-sensitive adhesive is advantageous for implementation into a flexible element between upper and lower substrates of a liquid crystal cell, and providing excellent electro-optical properties and appearance uniformity by minimizing defects.

The transparent substrate is disposed on the transparent display panel. The ultraviolet light shielding layer is disposed on the transparent display panel.
Interlayer for laminated glass, and laminated glass
An interlayer film for laminated glass is disclosed which contains a thermoplastic resin and has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, or has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, and the ten-point average roughness Rz of the surface at a center position of the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased, or the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased is 20 μm or more.
Light-transmissive plastic plate structure with curved surface and method for fabricating the same
The invention refers to a light-transmissive plastic plate structure suitable for vehicle sunroof with curved surface and a method for fabricating the same. By using polymer material formulation, UV resistant coating formulation and precision coating technology, the wear resistance of polymer surface of plastic substrate can be improved to the same level as glass, and the original optical and physical properties after various environmental tests can also be maintained. The plastic substrate is first formed into a curved plastic plate through a hot pressing process, and then a connecting structure is formed and fixed on the plastic plate by an insert-molding injection process, in order to replace the traditional car sunroof mechanism which is assembled by glass plate bonded with metal connecting parts. The light-transmissive plastic plate structure with curved surface comprises a lightweight polymer sunroof and a lightweight plastic connecting structure fixed to the sunroof by insert-molding injection, which can reduce the weight of traditional glass sunroof, front and rear windshield, and side window glass assembly, and is particularly suitable for use in oil-electric hybrid vehicles and pure-electric vehicles that require lightweight specifications.
Systems With Adjustable Windows
A system such as a vehicle may have adjustable structures such as adjustable windows. Adjustable windows may have adjustable layers such as adjustable tint layers, adjustable reflectivity layers, and adjustable haze layers. Adjustable window layers may be incorporated into a window with one or more transparent structural layers such as a pair of glass window layers. Adjustable components such as adjustable reflectivity layers, adjustable haze layers, and adjustable tint layers may be interposed between the pair of glass window layers. Fixed partially reflective mirrors, fixed tint layers, and/or fixed haze layers may be used in place of adjustable tint, haze, and reflectivity layers and/or may be incorporated into windows in addition to adjustable tint, haze, and reflectivity layers.
