LIGHT SHIELDING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicular sun visor includes a light shielding unit having a plurality of liquid crystal panels each of which enables a transmittance to be changed, and a sensor unit. The sensor unit includes a housing having a front wall part and a rear wall part, a pinhole formed on the front wall part, and a plurality of light receiving elements that are provided on the rear wall part and adapted to receive light passing through the pinhole. The plurality of liquid crystal panels are adapted to change a light transmittance based on light-receiving states of the plurality of light receiving elements each of which is associated with each of the liquid crystal panels.
ANTI-GLARE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
An anti-glare system for vehicles has a linear polarized filter mounted to a headlight of a vehicle with the positive side of the filter placed at a 135 degree angle relative to a horizontal line. A second linear polarized filter is mounted to a windshield of the vehicle with the negative side of the second filter placed at an angle of 45 degrees relative to a horizontal line. When vehicles equipped with this anti-glare system meet travelling in opposite directions, the polarized light emitted by the headlight of one vehicle is blocked by the filter installed in the windshield of the other vehicle. A third linear polarized filter may be mounted to rear and side view mirrors of the vehicle with the positive side of the third filter placed at an angle of 135 degrees relative to a horizontal line. When vehicles equipped with the anti-glare system meet travelling in the same direction, the polarized light emitted by the headlight of one vehicle is blocked by the filter installed in the rear or side view mirror of the other vehicle.

Electrically controllable privacy glazing with energy recapturing driver
A driver for an electrically dynamic structure may store and release energy during polarity cycling to improve the energy efficiency of operation. In some examples, the driver includes an energy storage element. In operation, the driver can charge an electrically controllable optically active material to a first operating voltage at a first polarity and subsequently discharge the optically active material during polarity reversal. The driver may store energy released from the optically active material during discharging and subsequently release the energy to charge the optically active material to a second operating voltage at a second polarity different than the first polarity.

FILMING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A filming apparatus installed in an interior of a vehicle to film images reflected on a windshield glass is provided. The apparatus may include a polarizing filter provided on a front surface or a rear surface of a lens, or a front surface of an image sensor, a transmission factor of the polarizing filter being lower at a first point than a second point, wherein reflected light is input from a portion of the windshield glass at the first point and a shimmering occurs at the first point.
