Aspects of the present disclosure include a vehicle having a passenger assistance system for facilitating ingress and egress of passengers. The vehicle may include a plurality of wheels. The vehicle may include a body including at least one doorway supported on the plurality of wheels via a suspension. The vehicle may include a door movable between an open position and a closed position covering the at least one doorway. The vehicle may include a first platform movable between a horizontal position beneath a bottom of the doorway and a stowed position parallel to the door. The vehicle may include an occupant compartment within the body. The occupant compartment may include a seat rotatable to face the doorway in an ingress or egress mode. The occupant compartment may include a robotic arm configured to extend along an ingress or egress path through the doorway.

The outer member includes an outer panel and an annular frame member which is joined to an outer peripheral portion of the outer panel by a hemming method, the reinforcement outer member is connected to the inner member at its front and rear end portions, and a seal outer member to seal a gap between the outer member and the door glass is attached to an upper frame portion fastened to the reinforcement outer member.
MODULE MOUNTING SYSTEM ELEMENT FOR MOUNTING ON A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR
A mounting module for mounting on a motor vehicle door, including a functional component, the mounting module having a mounting module carrier and a body functional component fastened to the mounting module carrier. The mounting module including a mechanical interface for fastening an extension functional component, such as a handle part or handle mount of a door handle unit, a motor vehicle lock and/or a sensor device. The mounting module including a contact unit for electrically contacting the extension functional component, and, within the scope of the mounting of the extension functional component to the mounting module by means of a mounting movement introduced into the extension functional component, the extension functional component is fastened to the mounting module via the mechanical interface and the extension functional component is electrically contacted via the contact unit.
Door handle unit
The disclosure relates to a door handle for a vehicle door which can be installed as such from the door inner side on a handle recess of the outer skin of the vehicle door, wherein the handle unit has a handle module and an especially elongate handle part which is accommodated by the handle module, wherein the handle module has a mechanism for the motorized adjustment of the handle part, wherein the handle unit can be pre-installed on the door. The door handle unit can have a fastening slide which, with the handle unit pre-installed is connected to the handle module on one side and to the motor vehicle door on the other side, wherein for the final installation of the door handle unit an installation movement can be introduced into the fastening slide by a tool in an installation direction from a narrow side of the vehicle door.

A door system for a vehicle includes a vehicle body structure and a first door structure. The first door structure includes a first door beam extending between a lower part and an upper part of the vehicle body structure when the first door structure is in a closed position. A first bracket is attached to a lower end of the first door beam by at least one fastening means. The first bracket is arranged to run in a first guide rail arranged in the vehicle body structure. The first guide rail includes a first recession. The first bracket includes a first protrusion arranged at a bottom end of the first bracket. Upon a roof crush, the first protrusion and the first recession in the first guide rail is arranged to engage to prevent separation of the first door structure from the vehicle body structure.

A handle device for vehicle configured to operate a door lock device via a cable device, the handle device includes an operation member connected to the cable device; and a handle case housing the operation member. The handle case includes a cable fixing base in which the cable device is arranged, a cap part configured to fix the cable device to the cable fixing base, and a hinge portion provided between the cable fixing base and the cap part, and rotating the cap part from an open position at which the cap part is open with respect to the cable fixing base to a fixing position at which the cap part faces the cable fixing base and clamps the cable device between the cap part and the cable fixing base.
