Door assemblies having fixed window glass insertion slits, vehicles incorporating the same, and methods of installing a fixed window glass
A door assembly includes a door frame, a first window glass, and a holding member. The door frame includes a first window seal and a second window frame. The first window seal at least partially defines a first window opening. The second window frame at least partially defines a second window opening. The second window frame having a division bar that separates the first window opening and the second window opening. The first window seal having a bottom seal member and a side seal member that extends between the bottom seal member and the division bar. The bottom seal member includes a slit extending along a longitudinal direction of the bottom seal member. The first window glass is inserted into the first window opening through the slit. The holding member is coupled to the bottom seal member to inhibit movement of the first window glass with respect to the first window opening.
HIDDEN OUTER BELT SEAL
Various examples of a window seal for a door assembly, e.g., for a vehicle, a door assembly, and a method of making a seal or door assembly are provided. A window seal may include a longitudinally extending channel having a cross section opened toward a moveable window. The belt seal structure may further comprise an insert having a base received longitudinally in the channel. An example door assembly may include an exterior door panel having a visible exterior surface and an interior surface. The door assembly may further comprise a window seal having a channel extending along the interior surface and an insert comprising a base received longitudinally in the channel. Example inserts may comprise a sealing lip extending laterally out of the channel to contact the moveable window.

Profile element for connecting a vehicle window pane to a cover part and profile element assembly
A profile element for connecting a vehicle window pane to a cover part includes a first connecting area for connecting the profile element to the vehicle window pane and a second connecting area for connecting the profile element to the cover part. A sealing element has at least a first segment and a second segment that are moveable relative to each other. The first segment has a first sealing surface configured to be placed against the vehicle window pane and the second segment has a second sealing surface configured to be placed against the cover part such that the sealing element forms a seal between the vehicle window pane and the cover part.

VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A vehicle body structure is provided that has fewer parts and allows a seal member securely sealing a gap between a vehicle body and a door to be attached thereto. The vehicle body structure has a door that covers and uncovers a door opening formed in a vehicle body. The door has a first garnish that is located on an outer side of a vehicle than the door, and a seal member that is attached to the first garnish and seals a gap between the door and the vehicle body. The first garnish has an insertion groove defined by a contact wall extending in a direction which is orthogonal to a lateral direction, and the seal member is inserted in the insertion groove so as to be in contact with the contact wall.

ENCAPSULATED GLASS FRAME ASSEMBLIES AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR FORMING SAME
An encapsulated glass assembly includes a plastic frame having at least three sides and corners, with the frame having a channel extending within its outer frame surface that includes a lower wall portion connected to a side wall portion. The outer frame surface further includes at least one upper wall portion extending from the side wall portion and extending along at least one side of the frame, each one of the at least one upper wall portions further defining a portion of the channel as a C-shaped channel. A glass panel coupled to the frame is retained within the C-shaped channel along at least one side of the frame such that the edge of the panel is adjacent to the side wall portion. An encapsulant having a Shore hardness less than the frame is bonded onto the panel and onto the frame to secure the panel to the frame.
Sealing for a vehicle roof
A roof module for a vehicle roof, which can have a roof panel for closing an opening in the vehicle roof, a frame for mounting the Roof module onto the vehicle roof, a sealing which can be fixedly mounted to the frame for sealing engagement with the panel, and adjusting elements for adjusting the roof panel relative to the frame. The sealing can have a cover lip for covering the adjusting elements, wherein the cover lip can be bent away in a resilient manner for accessing the adjusting elements.
