A seal structure is applied to a vehicle including a vehicle body that includes a roof opening, and a movable panel and a fixed panel that close the roof opening. The seal structure includes a flange extending along an opening edge of the roof opening, and a weather strip that includes a holding groove into which the flange is inserted, and blocks a gap generated between the vehicle body, and the movable panel and the fixed panel. A tip of the flange includes a plurality of notches with respect to an extending direction of the flange. The weather strip includes an inner wall and an outer wall facing each other across the holding groove, and a connection wall that connects the inner wall and the outer wall in a position corresponding to the notch.

The present invention particularly relates to a closing device (1) of an opening provided in a structure, comprising a fixed part (11), wherein an opening is defined, and at least one sliding movable panel (12) guided along two guide rails (114, 115) fitted on one face of said fixed panel (11), between a closing position, sealing the opening, in a sealing plane defined by the fixed panel (11), and at least one opening position, in a sliding plane, substantially parallel with the sealing plane, each of the rails (114, 115) bearing at least one shuttle (2) guided in translation in the rail (114, 115), movable in translation in the guide rails (114, 115), and switching the movable panel (12) from the sealing position to said at least one sliding position, and vice versa, and slidably moving the movable panel (12) in the sealing plane.
According to the invention, at least one of said rails (114, 115) bears, at one of the ends thereof, an end fitting forming a mechanical stop defining a stop position for said shuttle.

According to the invention, at least one of said rails (114, 115) bears, at one of the ends thereof, an end fitting forming a mechanical stop defining a stop position for said shuttle.

Sunroof Unit
Increase of an overall thickness of a sunroof unit is suppressed even when a flange portion depending from a side edge of an opening of a roof has a large height. A rear panel contacts an edge of an opening via a rear seal portion. The rear seal portion includes a first seal member mounted to a rear molded part in a rear portion of the opening and a second seal member extending in a fore and aft direction and supported by a frame via a support bracket to form a passage for a stay between the second seal member and the rear molded part in a side portion of the opening. The frame includes a pair of guide walls disposed more inboard than a side edge of the opening and slidably guiding the slider in the fore and aft direction and a vertical wall formed to stand upright at a position more outboard than the side edge of the opening. The support bracket has a U-shaped cross section opened upward and is disposed to receive a flange portion depending from the side edge of the opening.

An elastic integrally formed windshield retaining clip includes walls defining a frame channel to receive and retain a portion of an upright windshield frame, and walls defining a pane channel to receive and retain a portion of an edge of a windshield while the portion of the upright windshield frame is retained in the frame channel. The frame channel not only surrounds three sides of a windshield frame, but also surrounds the majority of the fourth side of the frame. Angled walls exert pressure against the retained edge of the windshield and the frame.
