Clipless Hood Seal
A seal includes a base portion, a first retaining member extending from the base portion, and a second retaining member extending from the base portion. Each of the first and second retaining members is structured to be resiliently deflectable with respect to the base portion. A portion of the first retaining member extends opposite the base portion so as to define a first cavity therebetween. A portion of the second retaining member extends opposite the base portion so as to define a second cavity therebetween. The first cavity has an open side opening in a first direction toward the second cavity, and the second cavity has an open side opening in a second direction toward the first cavity.

Roof-attachment system and method
A roof-attachment system and method for attaching a glass roof to the bodyshell of a motor vehicle, having a foam surround and having an adhesive, which, for the purpose of fastening the glass roof on the bodyshell in a materially bonded manner, is connected firstly to the glass roof, secondly to the foam surround and thirdly to the bodyshell. At an interface between the glass roof, the foam surround, and the adhesive, a step between the adhesive and the foam surround is provided with a chamfer.

SEALING STRUCTURE
Curling of a connection part of a second sealing member is avoided, the curling occurring in a case where the second sealing member is brought into elastic contact with a first sealing member. An end part of a third inner wall, which end part is located on a connection-part side, is thinner than the other part of the third inner wall, and at least a tip of the connection part is located on a vehicle-interior side of a vehicle-interior-side side surface of the third inner wall. A first curved wall and a second curved wall are brought into contact with each other in a case where a first end part and a second end part are caused to abut each other.
Door seal and sensor assembly for motor vehicle
A door seal and sensor assembly for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The assembly includes sealing members that can create seals between vehicle doors and the body of a vehicle. The assembly further includes pressure sensitive components that can detect pinching between vehicle doors and the body of the vehicle. The pressure sensitive components can be retained within retaining portions of lateral sealing members. Relatively rigid connecting members are used to connect the ends of the pressure sensitive components to corresponding wire harnesses. In vehicles that use a dual sliding door assembly, the assembly can be mounted around the entire periphery of an opening in the vehicle body.

SEALING STRUCTURE FOR DOOR OF AUTOMOBILE
A length of a sub seal of a door weather strip is sized and dimensioned in a manner that a distance is longer than a length with a glass run coupling to an outer-cabin side of a flange of a frame and the door weather strip coupling to an inner-cabin side of a door with a clip. The distance is between part of a lower part of a top end of the sub seal of the door weather strip in contact with an inclined surface of an upper side wall of the glass run and part of an upper surface of a top end of a lip of the glass run. The length is of a perpendicular line that extends between the sub seal and an inclined plate of the frame passing through the part of the upper surface of the top end of the lip.

Glazing comprising a clipping profiled bead for a clip-on cover piece
A glazing includes a window, and along part of an edge a profiled bead including a groove for clipping a cover piece onto the profiled bead, the cover piece including, seen in cross section, a harpoon penetrating into the groove during clipping, wherein when the harpoon is situated in the groove, the cover piece further includes, farther toward the exterior than the harpoon and outside of the groove, a base situated both facing and at a distance from a part of the edge surface of the window and a part of the edge surface of the adjacent window and, farther toward the exterior than the base, a flexible exterior covering situated both facing a part of the edge surface of the window and a part of the edge surface of the adjacent window, the exterior covering having a Shore A hardness between 45 and 90 inclusive.
