GLASS RUN
A glass run includes a body part including exterior and interior side walls and a bottom wall connecting the exterior and interior side walls; an exterior lip projecting from the exterior side wall toward the bottom wall and configured to slidably contact an exterior side of a door glass; and an interior lip projecting from the interior side wall toward the bottom wall and configured to slidably contact an interior side of the door glass. The interior lip includes a base end portion extending toward the bottom wall and is curved to be oriented toward an exterior of the vehicle as extending to its distal end portion, and the interior side wall includes a protuberance protruding toward the exterior, and the protuberance is positioned to be able to contact the interior lip when the interior lip is pressed toward an interior of the vehicle by the door glass to deform.
GLASS RUN
A glass run includes a body part including exterior and interior side walls and a bottom wall connecting the exterior and interior side walls; an exterior lip projecting from the exterior side wall toward the bottom wall and configured to slidably contact an exterior side of a door glass; and an interior lip projecting from the interior side wall toward the bottom wall and configured to slidably contact an interior side of the door glass. The interior lip includes a base end portion extending toward the bottom wall and is curved to be oriented toward an exterior of the vehicle as extending to its distal end portion, and the interior side wall includes a protuberance protruding toward the exterior, and the protuberance is positioned to be able to contact the interior lip when the interior lip is pressed toward an interior of the vehicle by the door glass to deform.
Vehicle Roof Cover Having a Frame Part
A cover for closing a vehicle surface opening is provided which has a frame part secured to the underside of the cover on one side at a frame part securing section by an application of plastic foam on the cover, and which contacts the underside of the cover on the other side at a free section of the frame part via at least one spacer. The frame part may also include at least one filling opening on the free section thereof for introducing a reactive plastic material forming the spacer, and the plastic material introduced through the filling opening into a gap between the free section of the frame part secured to the cover and the underside of the cover retains the free section of the frame on the underside of the cover in a positioned and/or fixed manner as a spacer after reacting or curing.

The inner lip includes at least a first inner lip, and a second inner lip provided at a position closer to the bottom wall than the first inner lip is. Each of the first inner lip and the second inner lip extends toward the bottom wall, and does not come into contact with each other during sliding contact with the door glass.
GLASS RUN
A glass run attached to a groove formed in a door frame includes: a basic frame including a bottom wall, a vehicle exterior side wall, and a vehicle interior side wall; an outer lip provided on the vehicle exterior side wall and coming into sliding contact with the vehicle exterior side of door glass; and an inner lip provided on the vehicle interior side wall and coming into sliding contact with the vehicle interior side of the door glass. The inner lip includes at least a first inner lip, and a second inner lip provided at a position closer to the bottom wall than the first inner lip is. Each of the first inner lip and the second inner lip extends toward the bottom wall, and does not come into contact with each other during sliding contact with the door glass.

A glazing includes a window, and along part of an edge a profiled bead including a groove for clipping a cover piece onto the profiled bead, the cover piece including, seen in cross section, a harpoon penetrating into the groove during clipping, wherein when the harpoon is situated in the groove, the cover piece further includes, farther toward the exterior than the harpoon and outside of the groove, a base situated both facing and at a distance from a part of the edge surface of the window and a part of the edge surface of the adjacent window and, farther toward the exterior than the base, a flexible exterior covering situated both facing a part of the edge surface of the window and a part of the edge surface of the adjacent window, the exterior covering having a Shore A hardness between 45 and 90 inclusive.

A testing device for detecting a contact pressure of a vehicle side window contacting a window seal arranged on the bodywork. In order to provide a universally applicable testing device that can be used for different vehicle types and models and that allows for reliable determination of the contact pressures, the testing device is designed having a central processing unit comprising a power supply, an evaluation unit and a display unit for showing the determined contact pressure, and having a pressure measuring film that can be removably arranged on the vehicle side window in the region of the window seal and that is connected to the evaluation unit of the central processing unit.
