Sealing apparatus for a laterally-sliding door
Disclosed embodiments include seals, vehicles, and methods for providing a seal for a door that is configured to travel laterally relative to a door opening. In an illustrative embodiment, a seal assembly includes first and second upper and lower lateral seals configured to seal outer and inner surfaces of the upper and lower edges of the door, respectively, as the door laterally moved into a closed position. The seal includes first and second front and rear transverse seals configured to seal the outer and the inner surfaces of the front and rear edges of the door, respectively, in response to the door laterally moving into the closed position.

WEATHER STRIP FOR VEHICLE
Provided is a weather strip for a vehicle according to the present disclosure. The weather strip includes: a fixing part fixed to a vehicle body or an opening/closing part of a vehicle; a sealing part formed on one side of the fixing part and formed in a hollow cross section therein to seal between the vehicle body and the opening/closing part; a sensor installation part positioned to be spaced apart from an inner surface of the sealing part in the sealing part and accommodating an anti-pinch sensor therein; and at least one sensor operation part protruding from the inner surface of the sealing part toward the sensor installation part by a predetermined length in the inner surface of the sealing part to pressurize the sensor installation part when the sealing part is deformed by an external force.
WIRE ASSEMBLY FOR ANTI-PINCH SENSOR FOR VEHICLE
Provided is a wire assembly for an anti-pinch sensor for a vehicle electrically connecting the anti-pinch sensor installed on one side of a door for the vehicle to detect the pinch between the door and a vehicle body with a controller configured to control an opening or closing of the door. The wire assembly includes: a lead wire unit connected to the anti-pinch sensor; a center wire unit having one end connected to the lead wire unit and installed on a folded portion of the door; and a connection wire unit having one end connected to the other end of the center wire unit, having the other end connected to the controller, and drawn out to the outside from the inside of the door through the door.

Seal for a door, door and vehicle fitted with same
The invention relates to a seal including a body having a built-in chamber in which a switching element is arranged, and a lever for actuating the switching element. The lever can tilt relative to the body in two different directions. The range of movement and shape of the lever and/or the arrangement thereof relative to a wall of the chamber are such that the tilting of the lever, in a first of the different directions, does not deform the chamber, or does not deform same enough for the switching element to switch, and such that the tilting of the lever in the second direction deforms the chamber so that the switching element switches.

EPDM BASED RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR SPONGE SECTION IN WEATHER STRIP OF PASSENGER CAR
An ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber composition for a sponge in a weather strip is provided. In the EPDM rubber composition free sulfur and 1,6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)-hexane (BDBzTH) are included in a EPDM rubber having a pattern viscosity (ML.sub.1+8 at 125° C.) value of 90 or more and a content of 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene (ENB) of 9 wt % or more. The EPDM rubber composition can improve compression set and provides a solution to the persistent discoloration problem of the EPDM rubber. Provided herein are EPDM compositions that are useful as a material of a sponge section in a weather strip of a passenger car.
