Systems and methods for automatic deployment of self-inflatable vehicle covering apparatus
Systems and methods described in this disclosure provide methods and systems for automatic deployment of a vehicle covering apparatus to protect the vehicle from environmental conditions such as severe weather.
VEHICLE COVER AND INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEM
A system includes a vehicle cover, a mechanical tensioning device, a memory device, storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute instructions to perform the steps of a method to secure a vehicle. The mechanical tensioning device may include attachment means to attach the device to a wheel of the vehicle and means to attach a security cable of the vehicle cover integrated into a bottom edge of the vehicle cover to the mechanical tensioning device. The mechanical tensioning device may include a rotational reel connected to either a tensioning motor or a tensioning crank and optionally including either a mechanical bi-stable device or one or more sensors configured to monitor the tension of the security cable when engaged to the mechanical tensioning device. The processor may monitor for a change in tension and execute one or more security measures in response.

Vehicle Cover Assembly
A vehicle cover assembly includes a tarp that may be positioned to cover a vehicle. The tarp is substantially comprised of a resiliently compressible material. Thus, the tarp absorbs impact energy thereby facilitating the tarp to inhibit the vehicle from is damaged by a projectile. The tarp is substantially comprised of a non-abrasive material. Thus, the tarp resists scratching the vehicle when the tarp is positioned to cover the vehicle.

COVER ASSEMBLY
Provided is a cover and a cover assembly for use in covering objects such as an outdoor furnishing, equipment, utilities and the like. The cover includes a compartment that removably attaches to the object and a cover portion that is stored in the compartment. The compartment includes a pouch-shaped interior and a pouch-extending tongue that is connected to the pouch-shaped interior and that attaches to a cover-extending tongue that is connected to an underneath side of the cover portion thereby attaching the cover portion to the compartment. In various embodiments, a space exists on the underneath side of the cover portion between the cover-extending tongue and an exterior edge of the cover portion such that when the cover portion is on the object, the exterior edge hangs below the compartment thereby covering the compartment while the cover portion remains attached to the compartment via the cover-extending tongue.
Protective Vehicle Cover Apparatus
A protective vehicle cover apparatus for preventing snow buildup and freezing includes a main cover and a pair of side covers. The main cover comprises a main cover body. The main cover body has a wiper portion, a windshield portion, and a roof portion to cover a vehicle. A plurality of main flaps is coupled to the main cover body. The plurality of main flaps is coupled to a pair of outer edges of the main cover body. A plurality of first fasteners is coupled to the plurality of main flaps. Each side cover comprises a side cover body to cover a window portion of the vehicle. A plurality of second fasteners is coupled to the pair of side covers. The plurality of second fasteners is selectively engageable with the plurality of first fasteners to secure each side cover to the main cover.

Automated Vehicle Cover Assembly
An automated vehicle cover assembly includes a disk that is positioned on a roof of a vehicle. A canopy unit is provided and the canopy unit is movably attached to the disk. The canopy unit is positionable in a deployed position having the canopy unit radiating outwardly from the disk to cover the vehicle for protection against sunlight and precipitation. Conversely, the canopy unit is positionable in a retracted position having the canopy unit is positioned beneath the cover. A remote control is in wireless communication with the canopy unit and the remote control actuates the canopy unit into the deployed position or the retracted position.
