An off-road vehicle has a frame, a motor, a steering input device, a storage bin disposed forward of the steering input device, the storage bin having side walls and a bottom wall, and an accessory holder assembly connected to the storage bin. The accessory holder assembly includes a receptacle having an upwardly facing receptacle aperture for receiving an accessory. The receptacle aperture is disposed within a perimeter defined by the side walls of the storage bin. The receptacle extends below the bottom wall of the storage bin. A height of a portion of the receptacle extending below the bottom wall of the storage bin being greater than a width of the receptacle aperture and greater than a length of the receptacle aperture.

A drive switching mechanism of a utility vehicle includes: a two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive switching device that switches between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive of the utility vehicle; and a control unit that controls the drive switching mechanism. The two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive switching device switches between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive by using a first clutch. The control unit permits the two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive switching device to switch from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive when a rotation difference of the first clutch becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined value.

A motor vehicle has a forward moving direction, a rear frame having a front end and a rear end according to the forward moving direction, a driving unit comprising an engine and a gearbox, elastic suspension devices which couple the driving unit to the rear frame in an elastically oscillating manner relative to the rear frame around an equilibrium position, and a crash body for absorbing a rear crash along the forward moving direction, the crash body being fixed to the driving unit so as to project in a cantilever manner from a back of the driving unit according to the forward moving direction beyond said rear end along the forward moving direction.

An off-road vehicle includes a frame, a front suspension, and a rear suspension. In some examples of the off-road vehicle, the rear suspension includes trailing arms with are pivotally attached to the frame rearward of an operator area. Further, the frame can include a front subframe assembly and a rear subframe assembly which are easily removable from the main frame of the vehicle to permit access to various components of the off-road vehicle.

A side-by-side off-road vehicle has a cockpit, a storage compartment disposed rearward of the cockpit, a motor compartment disposed rearward of the storage compartment, a frame, four ground engaging members, a motor, and a pivotable cargo bed. In a lowered position, the cargo bed extends over at least a portion of the motor and storage compartments. At least one first partition defines at least in part a front of at least a portion of the storage compartment. Embodiments relate to an off-road vehicle comprising a frame, including at least one cargo box support member, a suspension movably coupled to the frame, a passenger compartment, an engine, a transmission operatively coupled to the engine, and a cargo box. The cargo box includes a floor and a plurality of upwardly extending sidewalls, wherein at least a portion of the cargo box floor extends over the at least one cargo box support member and wherein the cargo box is removably coupled to the at least one cargo box support members and is removable from the off-road vehicle via the removal of fewer than eight fasteners.
