UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame, a powertrain assembly, a front suspension assembly, and a rear suspension assembly. A cargo bed may be supported by the frame at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle also includes an operator seat and at least one passenger seat positioned within an operator area. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes doors to enclose the operator area.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a front wheel, a rear wheel, a power unit in which an internal combustion engine and a compressor are modularized, and a seat. The compressor is configured to operate on rotational power generated in the internal combustion engine. The power unit is disposed between the front wheel and the rear wheel in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, and is disposed to place the compressor below the seat.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a prime mover provided behind a front room and below a floor panel, a propeller shaft extending in front of the prime mover and below the floor panel in a front-rear direction and configured to transmit rotational power output from the prime mover, an air conditioner unit that is provided in the front room and through which a first refrigerant flows, a compressor driven by power of the prime mover and configured to compress the first refrigerant, and a first pipe that connects the air conditioner unit and the compressor and through which the first refrigerant flows. The floor panel is formed with a center tunnel portion formed by bending the floor panel upward in a convex shape. A space in which the propeller shaft is provided is formed below the center tunnel portion. The first pipe extends through the space in the front-rear direction.
Utility vehicle automatic transmission powertrain mounting
A utility vehicle automatic transmission powertrain mounting includes a front isolator under an internal combustion engine, a pair of mid isolators under an adapter plate between the internal combustion engine and an automatic transmission, and a rear isolator over the automatic transmission. Each of the isolators is on a frame member of a rear portion of an off road or recreational utility vehicle frame. The utility vehicle powertrain mounting may be used with multiple engine options on off road or recreational utility vehicles having powertrains behind the seats and under the cargo bed. The utility vehicle powertrain mounting provides easy access to service, repair or replace the transmission, and provides support and stability for the engine during transmission work.
Floating engine powertrain
A vehicle transaxle comprising a plurality of mounting flanges fixedly mountable to an axle tube of the vehicle absent any additional structure for mounting the transaxle to the vehicle. The axle tube houses a wheel axle to which the transaxle is operably couplable. The transaxle additionally comprises a transaxle mounting collar that is fixedly mounted to or integrally formed with a housing of the transaxle. The mounting collar is structured and operable to have a prime mover of the vehicle mounted thereto and to support the weight/mass of the prime mover such that the prime mover is mountable to the vehicle via only the mounting collar absent any additional structure for mounting the prime mover to the vehicle such that the prime mover can be cantilevered from (e.g., suspended from) the transaxle, e.g., the prime mover is ‘free floating’.
SIDE-BY-SIDE VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame assembly, a cab frame assembly, a front suspension assembly, a rear suspension assembly, a power steering assembly, and a powertrain assembly, all of which may be configured to lower the center of gravity of the vehicle.
Off-highway recreational vehicle
A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis that is approximately 50 inches wide. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. Grab handles are positioned on the sides of the passenger seat. Select large round tubing protects the vehicle, while rectangular tubing frames the portions of the vehicle beneath body panels. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. The engine and transaxle are isolation mounted together with a portion of the air intake assembly. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.

Powertrain
A transaxle system for a golf car, wherein the system comprises a transaxle and a mating interface. The transaxle comprises a plurality of mounting flanges fixedly mountable to at least one axle tube of the golf car, wherein the at least one axle tube houses at least one wheel axle, and the transaxle is operably couplable to the at least one wheel axle. The transaxle additionally comprising a transaxle mounting collar that is fixedly mounted to or integrally formed with a housing of the transaxle. The mating interface is mountable to the transaxle mounting collar, and is structured and operable to have an integrated internal combustion engine-transmission unit of the golf car mounted thereto.
