VEHICLES FOR VARIABLY SIZED TRANSPORTATION
A vehicle for variably sized transportation may include a vehicle basis and exterior elements coupled to the vehicle basis. At least some exterior elements may be collapsible or movably coupled to the vehicle basis at a first set of positions or a first set of extended or collapsed states to form a first operational configuration, or at a second set of positions or a second set of extended or collapsed states to form a second operational configuration. The first or second operational configuration may provide for a first or second shadow and a first or second passenger or cargo space for the vehicle. The first and second shadows and the first and second passenger or cargo spaces may differ in at least their longitudinal dimensions or in latitudinal dimensions. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.
Mounting structure for an engine mount and method
A mounting structure for an engine mount (9) for an internal combustion engine. A fitting (19), such as a spigot, having an axis is provided for fitment to the engine mount. A bracket (11) is provided for fitment to the internal combustion engine. The bracket is arranged to receive the fitting in a direction parallel to its axis. The bracket includes an arrangement, such as a clamp, which is operable to cause the bracket to retain or release the fitting and the arrangement is accessible along a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the fitting is received into the bracket. This enables the engine mount to be released from the bracket by accessing the bracket from alongside rather than above.

AUTOMOTIVE POWERTRAIN UNIT
The present disclosure improves serviceability of an automotive powertrain unit without deteriorating NVH characteristics. A powertrain includes an engine having a cylinder head; and a transmission coupled to the engine. The engine includes an EGR connected between an intake passage and an exhaust passage. The transmission is provided below the cylinder head in a vehicle height direction. The EGR is provided along a side of the cylinder head toward the transmission, and supported by the transmission.
Fuel to electric reusable conversion kit and a method of converting and reusing the conversion kit
Suitable for frame vehicles, the kit provides a frame to be mounted on the chassis with attachment devices at a head section and at a middle section of the frame that supports an electric motor, a transmission and at least one battery system. Replacement of the conventional engine and transmission by the frame-mounted unit can be fast. The frame can be attached at the middle section using shear bolts to avoid impeding a crumple of the chassis during a front impact.

Dump truck
A dump truck includes: a vehicle body frame; tires provided to the vehicle body frame and configured to travel the dump truck; and a body supported by the vehicle body frame and configured to be raised and lowered, in which the vehicle body frame includes: a first vertical frame vertically standing in a side view at positions of the tires provided to a first side of the vehicle body frame in a travel direction; and a second vertical frame vertically standing in a side view at positions of the tires provided to a second side of the vehicle body frame in the travel direction, and a mount portion on which the body is mounted is provided on an upper portion of each of the first vertical frame and the second vertical frame.
PASSIVE STEERING FOR TILTING VEHICLE
A tilting vehicle having a steering system actively steering a front axle and a rear axle having two wheels that can be deflected individually in a vertical manner with respect to a vehicle body and that are independent of the steering system. The wheels of the rear axle can be steered by passive steering device configured to generate a steering force because of a vertical deflection of the wheels as the vehicle body tilts to one side. The steering force causing wheels to steer towards the opposite side.
Side-by-side ATV
The present invention relates to all terrain vehicles having at least a pair of laterally spaced apart seating surfaces. More particularly, the present invention relates to trail compliant side-by-side all terrain vehicles.
