Input synthesis gear system
A gear system for combining inputs is provided. The gear system can includes: a first power source that generates a rotational force; a second power source that generates a rotational force identical to or different from the rotational force of the first power source; a third power source that generates a rotational force identical or different from the rotational forces of the first power source and the second power source; and a gear unit that generates a resultant output by combining the rotational forces from the first power source to the third power source, in which the gear unit generates a resultant output by combining torque of any two of the first power source to the third power source and combining a speed of the other power source. According to this configuration, it is possible to generate various outputs from various power sources having the same or different characteristics.
POWERED UTILITY CART AND COMPLIANT DRIVE WHEEL THEREFOR
A lift-enabled motorized wheel assembly and material handling cart. A drive wheel is supported on an axel between a fixed leg and a floating leg. The axel passes through the fixed leg without interference, but is captured in the floating leg by a self-aligning bearing. The axle is driven by a drive motor that is bolted to the fixed leg through a right-angle gearbox. A vertical suspension unit provides compliance for drive wheel traction. A lifter sub-assembly alternately raises and lowers the drive wheel into and out of contact with the ground. The lift-enabled motorized wheel assembly is attached to the bottom of a cart frame, along with a plurality of caster wheels. The cart includes a tow-bar that is moveable between raised and lowered positions. When the tow-bar is lowered condition for towing, the drive wheel automatically lifts out of contact with the ground.
UTILITY VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR TRUCK, HAVING AT LEAST ONE DOUBLE-AXLE UNIT
A utility vehicle, in particular a motor truck or motor bus, is provided having at least one double-axle unit. The double-axle unit has a driven first axle and a driven second axle, wherein the first axle can be driven by way of a mechanical drivetrain and the second driven axle can be driven by at least one hydraulic motor of a hydrostatic drive.
Vehicle with a stability system that compensates for the centrifugal force and the transverse component of the inertia force when cornering
The present invention is a minimum size, maneuverable, comfortable, safe, and inexpensive compact vehicle, having a higher level of cornering/turning stability than the current state of the art. The inventive design may be applied to two-, three-, and four- (or more) wheeled vehicles. The invention may be utilized in the design of the main components of vehicles providing an increased stability during turning, even at high speeds, based on fixed and moveable chassis portions which swing in relation to one another and novel linking mechanisms connected with large and/or wide wheel portions.
Electrically driveable drive axle for an all-terrain utility vehicle, and utility vehicle
An electrically driveable drive axle (19) is disclosed for an all-terrain utility vehicle. The first drivetrain (20) has a first electric motor (21), a first transmission (22), and a first drive output (23). A second drivetrain (30) has a second electric motor (31), a second transmission (32), and a second output (33). The first drivetrain (20) and the second drivetrain (30) are arranged in a common housing (40) and/or on the common housing (40) where the first drivetrain (20) forms a first torque path and the second drivetrain (30) forms a second torque path. The first torque path and the second torque path are mechanically separate from one another. A corresponding vehicle is also disclosed.
Drive device
The drive device includes a first motor. The drive device includes a first rotational shaft that integrally rotates with a rotor of the first motor. The drive device includes a first counter shaft that is disposed parallel to the first rotational shaft and that is also connected to the first rotational shaft via a first counter gear. The drive device includes a first transmission shaft that is disposed coaxially with the first rotational shaft and that is also connected to the first counter shaft via a second counter gear. A series of oil channels is fashioned within the first rotational shaft and the first transmission shaft.
INLINE MASTER DRIVE UNITS
Systems are disclosed for a master drive unit including a traction motor, a steering motor, and a planetary steering system, wherein the traction motor, steering motor, and planetary steering system are mounted inline. The planetary steering system is a speed reduction system for reducing an output speed from the steering motor, whilst at the same time increasing output torque.
