IN-WHEEL DRIVING DEVICE
Disclosed are in-wheel driving devices. The devices include a wheel bearing including a hub and an outer ring disposed outward of the hub in a radial direction, a speed reducer including a carrier coupled to a wheel, an annular sealing member disposed between the hub and the carrier and brought into close contact with the carrier to seal lubricant oil supplied into the speed reducer, and wheel bolts that couple the wheel and the carrier and pass through wheel bolt holes formed in the carrier spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction. The sealing member is concentric with a first virtual circle passing through centers of the wheel bolt holes. The first virtual circle has a larger diameter than the sealing member such that the wheel bolts are located outward of the sealing member in the radial direction.
Dump truck
A vehicle drive unit (11) includes a spindle (12) on which a female spline portion (12G) is formed, a wheel (15) disposed on an outer peripheral side of the spindle (12), wheel bearings 17, 18 that rotatably support the wheel (15) in relation to the spindle (12), an electric motor (21) located on an axial one side of the spindle (12), a shaft (22) connected to an output shaft (21B) of the electric motor (21), a planetary gear reduction device (25) disposed between the shaft (22) and the wheel (15), and a shaft bearing (46) that rotatably supports the shaft (22) in relation to the spindle (12). A retainer (42) retaining the shaft bearing (46) is disposed on an inner peripheral surface side of the spindle (12), and a male spline portion (42E), which is spline-coupled to a female spline portion (12G) of the spindle (12), is disposed on the retainer (42).
Self-balancing systems for electric vehicles
An electric vehicle includes a lateral self-stabilization system and may further include a fore-aft self-stabilization system. The lateral self-stabilization system may include a controller configured to cause an actuator to laterally tilt a frame of the vehicle based on sensed information relating to an orientation of the vehicle, or portion thereof, about a roll axis. The frame of the vehicle may include any suitable structure configured to be laterally tilted by the actuator relative to an axle of the vehicle. The fore-aft stabilization system may include a motor controller configured to drive a motor of the vehicle based on sensed information relating to a pitch angle of the vehicle. In some examples, the vehicle is a robotic vehicle.
Selectively attachable and detachable axial hub motor
Systems, methods, and other implementations described herein relate to a hub motor for a wheel of a vehicle. In one embodiment, the hub motor includes a cylindrical rotor and a cylindrical stator coaxially spaced from the cylindrical rotor along an axle. The cylindrical rotor includes a rotor attachment to selectively couple the cylindrical rotor to the axle. The cylindrical stator is disposed between the cylindrical rotor and the wheel and includes stator attachments to selectively couple the cylindrical stator to an outer wheel surface of the wheel. The cylindrical rotor and the cylindrical stator are selectively attachable to the axle and the outer wheel surface, respectively, without removing the wheel from the vehicle.
Vehicles and systems and components thereof
New mobility components are provided that can enable a vehicle to traverse difficult terrain. In a particular aspect, vehicle leg components are provided that utilize unique degrees of freedom that can facilitate mobility. In a further aspect, vehicles are provided that contain such components.
Hub motor arrangement or vehicle with hub motor arrangement
A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.
MULTI-SPEED IN-WHEEL DRIVE FOR LAND TRANSPORT VEHICLES
An actuator is provided which includes a star compound gear train; a housing which houses said star compound gear train, said housing terminating in a back wall, wherein said back wall has an indentation defined therein; and a bearing assembly which includes first and second races and a plurality of bearings, wherein said first race is disposed in said indentation.
Power device for vehicles
The power device for a vehicle includes: a wheel bearing including a stationary ring and a rotary ring having a hub flange, the rotary ring being rotatably supported by the stationary ring via rolling element, the hub flange being configured to be attached with a wheel of a vehicle and a brake rotor; and a generator including a stator attached to the stationary ring of the wheel bearing and a rotor attached to the rotary ring of the wheel bearing, wherein the rotor includes a soft magnetic material part, magnets, and a resin material part that is integrally molded with the soft magnetic material part and the magnets.
Self-propelled tandem axle trailer
A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The frame forms an undercarriage chassis which the tandem wheel assembly is positioned there under. The undercarriage chassis includes a rear wheel assembly, a front wheel assembly, and an extension assembly moving the front wheel assembly between trailing position and a self-propelled position where the rear wheel assembly and the front wheel assembly are positioned to equally support the undercarriage chassis.
DUAL-ROTOR IN-WHEEL MOTOR BASED ON AXIAL MAGNETIC FIELD AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A dual-rotor in-wheel motor based on an axial magnetic field and a control method thereof are provided. The dual-rotor in-wheel motor includes an axle and a hub. The axle is fixedly connected to a frame. The hub relatively rotates around the axle. A disc-shaped intermediate stator is fixedly connected on the axle. A left coil assembly and a right coil assembly are fixedly mounted on two sides of the intermediate stator, respectively. A left rotor and a right rotor are respectively arranged on the two sides of the intermediate stator. The left coil assembly drives the left rotor to rotate, and the right coil assembly drives the right rotor to rotate. A left clutch is arranged between the left rotor and the hub, and a right clutch and a speed reduction mechanism are arranged between the right rotor and the hub.
