A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. Grab handles are positioned on the sides of the passenger seat. Select large round tubing protects the vehicle, while rectangular tubing frames the portions of the vehicle beneath body panels. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. A radiator is positioned above the engine. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.

Some embodiments are directed to a crossbar structure for use with a vehicle having a front bumper assembly, the crossbar structure being configured to extend across an opening in the front bumper assembly. The crossbar structure can include a hollow bar defining a front face and a rear face, the hollow bar being configured to extend across the opening. The crossbar structure can also include ribs extending between opposing interior surfaces of the hollow bar, the ribs being formed in a zig-zag pattern along a direction of elongation of the hollow bar and exposed from the rear face thereof.

Vehicle including air intake

A snowmobile includes an engine including an engine head including a cylinder head, a supercharger, an intake manifold, throttle bodies, first joints that connect the intake manifold to the throttle bodies, second joints that connect the throttle bodies to the cylinder head, and a restrictor that connects the engine head to the first joints. The restrictor includes an engaging member that fits into grooves of the first joints, and connectors that connect the engaging member and the engine head to each other. A steering shaft is inserted between two mutually adjacent first joints which have a distance from each other greater than a distance between the other two mutually adjacent first joints.

VEHICLE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM

A vehicle having an air intake system includes a charge air cooler, an intake duct, an outlet duct, and a bypass duct. The charge air cooler has a charge air inlet that is disposed at a first end of a charge air cooler core and a charge air outlet that is disposed at a second end of the charge air cooler core. The intake duct extends between an outlet of a turbocharger and the charge air inlet. The outlet duct extends between the charge air outlet and a throttle body having a throttle body valve that is operatively connected to an engine intake manifold. The bypass duct has a bypass valve. The bypass duct is connected to the charge air inlet and the charge air outlet. The bypass valve is configured to selectively facilitate bypass flow through the bypass duct.
