Motorcycle with pivotable fuel tank
A motorcycle includes an internal combustion engine, a frame, a fuel tank for carrying a fuel to be consumed by the internal combustion engine, and a container connected to the internal combustion engine and the fuel tank. The container is configured to store fuel evaporating from the fuel tank, and the container in a position of use is at least partially covered by the fuel tank. The fuel tank is supported pivotably relative to the frame between a maintenance position and the position of use.
MULTILAYER TUBE
Provided is a multilayer tube that has a layer containing an aliphatic polyamide (such as Polyamide 11 or Polyamide 12), a layer containing a Polyamide 6 composition or Polyamide 6/66/12 composition, a layer containing a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a layer containing a semi-aromatic polyamide composition that contains a semi-aromatic polyamide having a specific structure, and further has a fluorine-containing polymer in which a functional group having reactivity with an amino group is introduced into the molecular chain thereof.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
A swirling wall structure-extends from a lower side toward an upper side in a sub-tank, and a fuel flow, which is outputted into an inside of the sub-tank from a flow outlet of a diffuser passage opened toward a lateral side, is swirled by the swirling wall structure. The swirling wall structure-includes a curved wall surface and a U-turn wall surface. The curved wall surface is curved about a longitudinal axis, which extends from the lower side toward the upper side in the sub-tank, to bend the fuel flow outputted from the flow outlet. The U-turn wall surface extends continuously from the curved wall surface to make a U-turn of the fuel flow, which is bent by the curved wall surface.
FUEL RETURN DEVICE
A fuel return device to be mounted to a fuel tank for returning an excess fuel flowing out from an engine through a fuel return piping member to the fuel tank includes a fuel return pipe connected to the fuel return piping member. The fuel return pipe has an opening that is opened to an upper space formed in the fuel tank with the fuel return pipe mounted to the fuel tank.
FUEL CELL VEHICLE
A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell stack, a fuel tank, a body-side mounting portion, a main fuel pipe, a securing mechanism, and an elastic pipe. The fuel cell stack is disposed in a front section of the fuel cell vehicle. The fuel tank is disposed in a rear section of the fuel cell vehicle. The main fuel pipe connects the fuel tank and the body-side mounting portion. The elastic pipe is connected to the fuel cell stack at a first end of the elastic pipe and connected, via the securing mechanism, to the body-side mounting portion at a second end of the elastic pipe opposite to the first end such that the second end of the elastic pipe is disengaged from the body-side mounting portion when a load larger than a predetermined threshold load is applied to the securing mechanism.
FUEL CELL VEHICLE
A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell stack, a fuel tank, a body-side mounting portion, a main fuel pipe, a securing mechanism, and an elastic pipe. The fuel cell stack is disposed in a front section of the fuel cell vehicle. The fuel tank is disposed in a rear section of the fuel cell vehicle. The main fuel pipe connects the fuel tank and the body-side mounting portion. The elastic pipe is connected to the fuel cell stack at a first end of the elastic pipe and connected, via the securing mechanism, to the body-side mounting portion at a second end of the elastic pipe opposite to the first end such that the second end of the elastic pipe is disengaged from the body-side mounting portion when a load larger than a predetermined threshold load is applied to the securing mechanism.
Integrated fill system and method
An integrated fill system is provided for a vehicle. The integrated fill system can include a receptacle, a cap that mates with the receptacle, and a fill line that is in fluid communication between the receptacle and a container. The integrated fill system can further include a valve between an opening on an end of the container and an end of the fill line to allow one-way fluid communication for entry of compressed material into the container. The integrated fill system can further include a draw line on an opposite end of the container to maintain separate lines for filling and drawing compressed material into/from the container.
Multi-boss flange
The present invention relates to a flange that includes a base region, a first raised region, a second raised region, a first sloped region between the base region and the first raised region, and a second sloped region between the base region and the second raised regions, wherein the first and second sloped regions extend through a gap region between the first and second raised regions, and wherein the first and second sloped regions define multiple concave and convex regions in multiple planes of the flange so as to reduce stress within the flange.

The present invention relates to a flange that includes a base region, a first raised region, a second raised region, a first sloped region between the base region and the first raised region, and a second sloped region between the base region and the second raised regions, wherein the first and second sloped regions extend through a gap region between the first and second raised regions, and wherein the first and second sloped regions define multiple concave and convex regions in multiple planes of the flange so as to reduce stress within the flange.
Fueling device
A fueling device mounted on a vehicle, includes: a flow path forming member forming a flow path extending from a fueling port to a fuel tank of the vehicle; and a stay joined to a vehicle body, wherein the stay supports an outer end portion of the flow path forming member.
