ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN FOR A VEHICLE
an electric powertrain integrated into a vehicle axle. Such electric axle (or “E-axle”) is a front or rear axle that includes an axle body (or “housing”) adapted to receive a powertrain, which is arranged to provide torque to the wheels of the axle. The “E-Axle” is a compact and economical electric drive solution for battery electric vehicles, fuel cells and hybrid applications. The electric motor(s), electronics and transmission are combined in a compact unit that directly drives the wheels provided at the longitudinal ends of the axle.

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, an energy storage device, a vehicle body, an electric power take-off system, and a hydraulic component. The energy storage device is supported by the chassis and is configured to provide electrical power to a prime mover. Activation of the prime mover selectively drives the refuse vehicle. The vehicle body is supported by the chassis, and includes an on-board receptacle for storing refuse therein. The electric power take-off system is positioned on the vehicle body, and includes an electric motor configured to drive a hydraulic pump to convert electrical power received from the energy storage device into hydraulic power. An amount of electrical power at least one of received by and provided to the electric motor is limited by a controller to control an output characteristic of the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic component is in fluid communication with the hydraulic pump and configured to operate using hydraulic power from the electric power take-off system.

Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle including a drive gearbox connected to a drive motor of the motor vehicle, a power take-off connected to an auxiliary output of the drive gearbox, and an auxiliary unit connected to the power take-off. The auxiliary unit is coupled with the power take-off such that the auxiliary unit is disposed below the drive gearbox.
Prime mover systems with a power take-off system and a transmission
A prime mover system includes a first prime mover, a first drive shaft, a differential, a power take-off (PTO) drive shaft, a second drive shaft, a transmission, a first accessory, and an output shaft. The first drive shaft is operatively coupled to the first prime mover. The differential is coupled to the first drive shaft. The PTO drive shaft is coupled to the differential. The second drive shaft is coupled to the differential. The transmission is coupled to the second drive shaft. The first accessory is operatively coupled to the PTO drive shaft. The output shaft is coupled to the transmission. The transmission is configured to transfer rotation of the second drive shaft to the output shaft. Rotation of the PTO drive shaft is independent of rotation of the output shaft.

Transmission system
A transmission system suitable for operation with a drive machine includes an input shaft for a drive power, at least one output shaft for outputting drive power, a power-split transmission section having at least one variable transmission branch and a mechanical transmission branch, a manual transmission, a transmission system controller, and at least one first and second electric machine for generator and motor operation. The electric machines are electrically connected to one another. The drive power is divided up and conducted by the mechanical and variable transmission branch. An input-coupled, magnetically electric epicyclic gear stage brings together the variable transmission branch and mechanical transmission branch, and is activated by the second electric machine such that the output shaft of the transmission system rotates counter to a direction of rotation at the input shaft to provide a forward and reverse operation of the transmission system.
