Simplified system for disconnecting a power outlet of a cardan in a vehicle with a trailer
Disclosed herein is a vehicle (1)—preferably a tractor—with a trailer (2) operatively connected thereto with a cardan (3), said cardan (3) comprising a power take-off, said power take-off being switched off when said cardan (3) builds with said vehicle (1) and/or with said trailer (2) an angle (ε) smaller than a first threshold value (a) and/or larger than a second threshold value (β) and being switched on when said angle (ε) exceeds again said first threshold value (β) thanks to suitable actuators, including detection means of the angle formed between the cardan (3) and said vehicle and/or trailer. According to the present invention, said angle (ε) is detected by a detector consisting of a magnetic device (4) placed on the trailer (2) or the vehicle (1) and an electronic compass (5) placed on the vehicle (1) or on the trailer (2). Preferably, the angle (ε) insisting on the cardan (3) is obtained according to the formula: ε=180−Y−arcsen (l/m sen y) (3) where y is the angle the compass (5) forms with respect to the straight travel with the magnet (4), I is the distance between the cardan (3) and the compass (5), m is the distance between the cardan (3) and the magnet (4).

Disclosed herein is a vehicle (1)—preferably a tractor—with a trailer (2) operatively connected thereto with a cardan (3), said cardan (3) comprising a power take-off, said power take-off being switched off when said cardan (3) builds with said vehicle (1) and/or with said trailer (2) an angle (ε) smaller than a first threshold value (a) and/or larger than a second threshold value (β) and being switched on when said angle (ε) exceeds again said first threshold value (β) thanks to suitable actuators, including detection means of the angle formed between the cardan (3) and said vehicle and/or trailer. Method to decouple engine speed from hydraulic pump speed through an electric motor driven variator
A work machine includes an engine for driving a primary working unit. At least one hydraulically powered auxiliary working unit is powered by a hydraulic pump. The engine and an electric motor both provide power to the hydraulic pump via a planetary gear set which sums the power inputs from the engine and the electric motor. The pump speed of the hydraulic pump is thereby decoupled from the engine speed of the engine.

Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes a first shaft provided to be rotatable around a first rotational axis of the hydraulic pump driven by the engine. A second shaft is rotatable about the first rotational axis to rotate the power take shaft. A clutch is rotatable about a second rotational axis that is substantially parallel to the first rotational axis and is vertically below the first rotational axis. The clutch has a first rotating portion and a second rotating portion arranged to face each other in the second rotational axis. A first rotating portion is connectable to and separable from the second rotating portion. The first rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the first shaft to the first rotating portion. A second rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the second rotating portion to the second shaft.
Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes a first shaft provided to be rotatable around a first rotational axis of the hydraulic pump driven by the engine. A second shaft is rotatable about the first rotational axis to rotate the power take shaft. A clutch is rotatable about a second rotational axis that is substantially parallel to the first rotational axis and is vertically below the first rotational axis. The clutch has a first rotating portion and a second rotating portion arranged to face each other in the second rotational axis. A first rotating portion is connectable to and separable from the second rotating portion. The first rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the first shaft to the first rotating portion. A second rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the second rotating portion to the second shaft.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRIFIED FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE
An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a battery pack, an electromagnetic device, an engine, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack, operate the electromagnetic device using stored energy in the battery pack to provide a performance condition including (i) accelerating the electrified fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time, and start and operate the engine in response to a start condition to facilitate reserving sufficient stored energy in the battery pack such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate the performance condition. The acceleration time is 30 second or less. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least 3 minutes.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRIFIED FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE
An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a battery pack, an electromagnetic device, an engine, and a controller. HYBRID MOBILE OPERATING MACHINE AND ITS FUNCTIONING METHOD
An hybrid mobile operating machine comprising a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine, an articulated arm associated with a pipe, a pumping unit and a stabilization unit, primary services and auxiliary services, wherein the internal combustion engine is suitable to power at least a first and a second power take-off. The mobile operating machine is provided with both a first drive unit which comprises at least one electric accumulator, a first electric motor and a first hydraulic pump, and a second drive unit which comprises at least one second electric motor and a second hydraulic pump.
