The covering device can be moved in an opening movement direction from a closed position into an open position or in a closing movement direction from an open position into a closed position by means of at least one electromechanical drive via at least one transmission. The cleaning device furthermore has a sensor, which is designed to detect an action of a manual force on the covering device in the opening movement direction or in the closing movement direction. The cleaning device is furthermore designed to control the electromechanical drive in accordance with the detection of the action of the manual force.
METHODS OF MONITORING THE LOAD STATE OF A DISHWASHING APPLIANCE
A method may include detecting one or more insertion actions for a loading one or more articles into the dishwashing appliance and directing, subsequent to the detected insertion actions, a dishwasher cycle within the dishwashing appliance. The method may also include detecting, subsequent to the dishwasher cycle, one or more removal actions for unloading the one or more articles from the dishwashing appliance. The method may further include evaluating the detected removal actions against the detected insertion actions and directing a user interface of the dishwashing appliance based on the evaluation.
DISHWASHER, IN PARTICULAR IN THE SHAPE OF A COUNTER MODULE FOR A COUNTER SYSTEM
A dishwasher (1) for cleaning washware items (2) in the form of drinking vessels, in particular drinking cups, mugs, glasses or bottles, wherein the dishwasher is in particular configured as a counter module of a counter system and includes at least one and preferably exactly one treatment zone (3) with an associated placement area (4) and an associated removal area (5). The washware item to be cleaned can preferably manually be placed into the treatment zone via the placement area and the cleaned washware item can preferably manually be removed from the treatment zone via the removal area. The placement area and the removal area are disposed opposite one another with the interposition of the treatment zone. At least one bracket (15) is provided in the treatment zone for in particular releasably securing and/or positioning the washware item placed onto a placement surface (20) in the treatment zone.
Portable handheld submersible ultrasonic cleaning device
A portable handheld submersible ultrasonic cleaning device has a generally elongate body defining proximal and distal ends, a power supply and an ultrasonic transducer powered thereby, wherein the distal end exposes the ultrasonic transducer to agitate surrounding water when the base is submerged in the water use. A propeller device comprising a propeller may force the water across the ultrasonic transducer. When cleaning, the device may be held with the distal end thereof submerged for enhanced cleaning and removing surface contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, pigments, bacteria and the like. The device may be stood upright upon the base on the floor of a container for hands-free application of ultrasound whilst cleaning.
Door-lock device
A door-lock device having a casing, a slider, arranged within said casing, a locking hook with a body and a locking portion, said body having a cam shape which abuts said slider, said locking hook capable to assume a rest position, in which said locking portion is disengaged from said recess, and an operative position, in which said locking portion is inserted, and engaged with, said recess, and pushing capabilities, for keeping said slider in contact with said cam surface, so when said door is closed, said locking hook passes from said rest position to said operative position, said cam shape compressing said pushing capabilities, so that said pushing capabilities accumulate energy and said slider exerts a resistance to the closing of said door, and, then, allowing said pushing capabilities to release said energy, so that said slider exerts a return action on said locking hook and on said door.
Method for filling a wash tub of a dishwasher with water
A method for filling a wash tub (12) of a dishwasher (10) with water, wherein the wash tub (12) comprises a water-collecting sump pot (16) that is fixed to an opening in its bottom and said method forms part of a program cycle for the operation of the dishwasher, said method comprising the subsequent steps of: (i) opening a water inlet (13) of the dishwasher and executing a static filling of the wash tub wherein a circulation pump of the dishwasher is kept deactivated, (ii) detecting a predetermined lower water level (22) inside the sump pot (16), and (iii) starting to measure the time for the static filling when said lower water level (22) is detected.
Method and apparatus for operating a domestic appliance and domestic appliance
A method for operating a domestic appliance to reduce consumption of one or more operating resources includes receiving data about a temporal cost profile of the operating resources, having a first time interval with low costs and a second time interval with high costs, comparing a operating time period with the first time interval and determining a point in time for starting operation as a function of a result of the comparison, when the operating time period is longer than the first time interval, determining a temporal program segment with a higher consumption than other program segments based on a temporal consumption profile that describes consumption as a function of time during operation, and determining the point in time for starting the operation such that the program segment with the higher consumption falls within the first time interval.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE FOR CLEANING A LOAD AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A LOAD IN A TREATMENT SPACE OF A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A domestic appliance for cleaning a load has a treatment space for accommodating a load to be cleaned, a load detecting device for detecting a load quantity in the treatment space, and a time detecting device for detecting a time value. A controller of the domestic appliance automatically starts a cleaning program when (i) the load quantity detected by the load detecting device exceeds a predetermined load limit value and (ii) the time value detected by the time detecting device exceeds a predetermined time limit value.
Monitoring faults in the heating circuit of an appliance
A household appliance has a heating circuit (140) for heating a fluid including a heating element (150) that can be selectively energized (155) to determine the heating of the fluid, and a monitoring unit (125) for monitoring the operation of the heating circuit. The monitoring unit (125) is configured to monitor at least one electrical potential internal to the heating circuit (140). The at least one electric potential internal to the heating circuit (140) is at least one among: an internal electric potential detected at a first terminal (160b) of the heating element (150) connected to an on/off switch (155) of the heating circuit (140); an internal electric potential detected at a second terminal (160a) of the heating element (150) connected to a main switch (135) of the appliance or to a safety switch provided for switching the heating circuit off in case of malfunction of the on/off switch (155). The monitoring unit (125) is further configured for: detecting a value of the voltage of the electricity distribution network; and calculating, starting from the detected value of the voltage of the electricity distribution network, first and a second reference electric potentials, comparing the at least one detected internal electric potential with the first and second reference electric potentials; recognizing a state of good operation or malfunction of the heating circuit (140) in case the at least one detected internal electric potential does not fall within a range of values between the first and second reference electric potentials.
