Control unit
A control unit for an apparatus, the control unit comprising: a component-carrying member provided with at least one electronic component configured to provide a function of the apparatus; wherein the component-carrying member is formed of a material that is pliable at least during assembly of the control unit; and a laminate encapsulation layer encapsulating at least a part of the or each electronic component. Optionally, the control unit comprises a second member which defines a user-interaction surface.
Push-button switch with the switching elment arranged on the keycap
A push-button switch and a transportation vehicle in which the disclosed push-button switch is inserted. The push-button switch has a keycap, a base plate, a switching element, a first lever and a second lever. The first lever and the second lever are each mounted for rotation on the base plate by a pivot bearing and are each movably connected to the keycap at a first lever end. The first lever and the second lever are movably connected to one another at a second lever end. The switching element is arranged on the keycap so the switching element is actuated by the second lever end of the first lever or by the second lever end of the second lever.
OPTICAL-EFFECT TOUCHPAD ON A STEERING WHEEL FOR FINGER DETECTION
A system for detecting command gestures made by a finger of a motor vehicle driver, including at least one interface pad, a light source that emits an infrared optical beam toward the interface pad, an imaging sensor, in order to capture images steered by the interface pad away from the driver, the interface pad including a base frame and a movable plate that is movable between a rest position and at least one activation position, the base frame including a first inclined edge and the movable plate including a second inclined edge, the first and second inclined edges forming a zone of contrasts of interest as seen by the imaging sensor, and being separated by a space or brought closer together depending on the position of the movable plate, and generating a contrast effect in the images of the interface pad that are captured by the imaging sensor.
IN-VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes: a sensor, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to set a primary user of the display, detect a hand of a user using the sensor, determine whether the detected hand is a hand of the primary user, based on the determination that the detected hand is the hand of the primary user, execute a first function according to a first movement of the detected hand, and control the display to display information corresponding to the first function.
Display control device, display control system, and display control method
The display control device includes a controller that controls a first display and a second display to control displaying of first information and second information. The controller obtains gaze information indicating a driver's gaze, and the driver's gaze indicated by the gaze information is directed at neither the first display nor the second display. In the situation, if a second event further occurs while the first display is displaying the first information because of the occurrence of a first event, the controller changes the display position of the second information to display the second information on the first display. In the situation, if the first event further occurs while the second display is displaying the second information because of the occurrence of the second event, the controller changes the display position of the first information to display the first information on the second display.
DISPLAY METHOD
A method includes detecting, with a sensor, a gaze of an occupant of a vehicle. The gaze is directed to at least one vehicle displays. The method also includes determining, with a controller circuit in communication with the sensor, whether one or more features presented on the at vehicle displays are partially obstructed from a view of the occupant. When the one or more features presented on vehicle displays are partially obstructed from the view of the occupant, the controller circuit adjusts a presentation of at least one partially obstructed features to be viewable by the occupant.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR EXTERIOR VEHICLE DISPLAY AND PANEL EXCITERS
An audible accessibility system for a vehicle comprises a first audible device in connection with a first door. A second audible device is in connection with a portion of the vehicle. An actuator is configured to adjust a position of the first door. A controller is configured to control an opening for access to the vehicle by controlling the actuator to adjust the position of the first door and the first audible device. The controller is further configured control an audible entry routine comprising controlling the first audible device to output a first audible indication and the second audible device to output a second audible indication, wherein the first audible indication and the second audible indication are spatially separated by the opening.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR EXTERIOR VEHICLE DISPLAY AND PANEL EXCITERS
An exterior display apparatus for a vehicle comprises a display panel comprising a display surface in connection with an exterior portion of the vehicle. The system further comprises an acoustic vibration device dynamically coupled to the display surface and a sensor configured to detect a foreign material on a portion of the display screen. A controller is configured to identify a temperature of an environment proximate the vehicle. In response to the detection of the foreign material, the controller is configured to activate a plurality of vibration control routines of the acoustic vibrational device based on the temperature.
JOYSTICK CONTROL SYSTEM FOR REFUSE VEHICLES
A joystick control system for a refuse vehicle includes multiple joystick input devices, and a single controller. The single controller is configured to receive a user input from one or more of the multiple joystick input devices. The controller is also configured to identify which of the joystick input devices provide the user input. The controller is also configured to generate control signals, in response to receiving the user input, for one or more controllable elements of the refuse vehicle based on which of the joystick input devices provides the user input and the user input. The controller is also configured to provide the control signals to the one or more controllable elements of the refuse vehicle to operate the one or more controllable elements of the refuse vehicle according to the user input.
METHOD AND DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING OUTPUT DATA
The disclosure relates to a method for displaying output data, wherein the output data includes motor-vehicle-side data of a motor vehicle which is displayed via a placard, wherein the motor-vehicle-side data is represented by a color coding of the placard and approval data of the motor vehicle, said method comprising the following steps: providing a display device for displaying the output data; detecting the motor-vehicle-side data of the motor vehicle by means of a detection device; determining the color coding of the placard by means of a control device based on the detected motor-vehicle-side data; displaying a placard surface of the placard in a display region of a display surface of the display device, wherein the placard surface has the color coding; and receiving a release signal for displaying the approval data in a predetermined region of the placard surface of the placard.
