DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A dishwasher includes a dishwasher interior for washing items to be washed with washing liquor. Arranged at a lower end of the dishwasher interior is a pump sump for collecting the washing liquor, and a sensor is arranged in the pump sump for outputting a sensor signal as a function of a presence of washing liquor at the sensor. A control apparatus configured to carry out a washing program selected from a number of washing programs is designed to determine a malfunction of a component of a hydraulic assembly as a function of the sensor signal and of a current operating state of the dishwasher.
CLEANING TANK
This invention relates in general to an industrial cleaning apparatus. The cleaning apparatus has a cleaning tank which has a generally rectangular configuration having two opposing major sides, two opposing minor sides and an opening. A lid is pivotally connected to one of the major sides and adapted to allow access to the cleaning tank when opened and to close the opening of the cleaning tank in use. A horizontally disposed support frame supports the kitchen articles within the cleaning tank. A heating system is disposed within the cleaning tank and heats the fluid therein. A lift assembly raises and lowers the support frame by a remotely operated control system. In use, when the lift assembly is remotely controlled to raise and lower the support frame a corresponding vertical motion of the support frame opens and closes the lid.
A DISHWASHING MACHINE AND METHOD
Dishwashing machine comprising: a controller; a spray arm assembly comprising a spray arm having one or more spray holes for spraying a washing load with water, and a pipe for delivering water to the spray arm; a pump for pumping water through the pipe and to the spray arm; the pipe being constructed and arranged to at least partially restrict flow of water from the pump to at least a part of the spray arm dependent on spray arm orientation relative to the pipe, a power consumption of the pump thereby being dependent at least in part on the spray arm orientation relative to the pipe; and the controller being configured to monitor the power consumption of the pump in order to determine rotational information of the spray arm.
DISHWASHER AND METHOD OF OPERATING
A dishwasher and method of operating a dishwasher according to a cycle of operation are described herein. The dishwasher includes a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a rotatable spray arm comprising a nozzle outlet, and a liquid supply conduit fluidly coupled to the spray arm. A pump can be fluidly coupled to the liquid supply conduit and operated to flow liquid through an aperture in the liquid supply conduit.
Rack detection system for child safety and a method of controlling a dishwasher
A rack detection system for a dishwasher, including: a docking system including a plug disposed on a rack, such as a lower rack, and configured to dock with a docking hole of a water supply tube on condition that the lower rack is in an operational position within the dishwasher; and a controller configured to sense a load on the pump motor of a pump for pumping water to the water supply tube and determine if the load on the pump motor is within predetermined operating limits. On condition that the lower rack is removed from the operational position within the dishwasher and the plug is not docked with the water supply tube such that water flows out of the docking hole, the controller is configured to sense that the load on the pump motor is outside the predetermined operating limits and shuts down the dishwasher.
Dish overflow protection systems for dish machines and methods of making and using same
A dish overflow protection system for a dishwasher. The dishwasher has a conveyor mechanism, a holding area, and a washing system. The dish overflow protection system has a housing including a user interface. A first sensor is disposed on the housing and is configured to take a first reading. A second sensor is remote from the housing and is configured to take a second reading. The dish overflow protection system has a control unit configured to halt operation of the conveyor mechanism where a difference between the first reading and the second reading is greater than a threshold. The user interface is usable to modify the threshold.
Relay monitor circuit and secondary relay control for an appliance
Systems and methods of for controlling and appliance are provided. A control system for operating a load of an appliance can be provided. The control system includes a processor and memory device. Memory device is configured to store instructions that when executed by processor cause the processor to perform operations. Operations include determining an operational state of a first load control device, generating a first control signal based on the operational state of the first load control device, determining the operational state of a first load control device enable circuit; generating a second control signal based on the operational state of the first load control device enable circuit; generating a first load control signal based on the first control signal and second control signal; and operating a second load control device based on the first load control signal.
ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
