Transparent member for automobile interior parts
The present invention relates to a transparent member for an automotive interior part. In one embodiment, the transparent member for the automotive interior part includes: a light source; an optical pattern layer formed over the light source; and a first light-transmitting skin layer formed on the optical pattern layer and including about 1 part by weight to about 25 parts of a first inorganic filler dispersed in 100 parts by weight of a first transparent resin matrix, wherein the first inorganic filler includes spherical calcium carbonate (CaCO.sub.3).
Vehicle media hub assembly
A vehicle media hub assembly includes a housing having a display surface with an aperture, and a port disposed at least partially within the housing and extending into the aperture, the port configured to provide electrical and/or signal communication between two electrical devices. A lighting device is disposed within the aperture at least partially around the port. A door is coupled to the housing and movable between an open position providing access to the display surface, and a closed position covering the display surface. The door includes a window and a translucent cover at least partially covering the window. The window is configured to be disposed proximate the lighting device when the door is in the closed position such that light from the lighting device is configured to pass through the window and the translucent cover to illuminate at least a portion of the translucent cover.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided is a head-up display device that enables display with more accurate quality. A head-up display device of the present disclosure comprises: a light source that emits light at a predetermined brightness and that emits illumination light; a display element that generates display light by being illuminated with the illumination light; a light sensor that, when illumination light is incident thereon, outputs an illumination light amount signal corresponding to the illumination light amount; and a light source controller that controls the light emission of the light source in response to the illumination light amount signal. The light source controller controls the light source, on the basis of deterioration information indicating the degree of deterioration due to aging of the light sensor, in a first mode in which light is emitted at a first brightness in a case where the deterioration of the light sensor is small, and in a second mode in which light is emitted at a second brightness lesser than the first brightness in a case where the deterioration of the light sensor is large.
Illuminated control panel capacitive sensor having rigid and flexible portions
A motor vehicle control panel includes a front face including a control zone; a printed circuit board; at least one electrically conductive capacitive detection element extending along a vertical axis from the rear surface of the front face to an electrical contact zone of the printed circuit board; a light source mounted on the printed circuit board and able to produce a back lighting light beam toward the control zone through the capacitive detection element; the capacitive detection element also comprises at least one rigid tubular part forming a light guide for the light beam and at least one elastic part made in one piece with the rigid tubular part so as to compensate the clearances between the rear surface and the detection element and between the printed circuit board and the detection element.
MOLDED PART AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A MOLDED PART
A molded part comprises a decorative layer having a visible front side, a rear side, and a backing that is situated on the rear side of the decorative layer. The decorative layer comprises a decorative ply having a front side, a rear side that faces the backing, a light-conducting optical layer, situated between the front side of the decorative ply and the front side of the decorative layer, having a first refractive index. Situated in at least one symbol area of the decorative layer, between the decorative ply and the optical layer, is a transparent or translucent effect layer for displaying one or more symbols, and that has a second refractive index that is different from the first refractive index. The molded part includes a first light system for scattering light internally about the symbol, and a second light system for illuminating a front side of the symbol externally.
Visible Component for a Motor Vehicle, and Motor Vehicle Having Visible Component
A visible component for a motor vehicle includes a fiber-reinforced plastics component having a multi-layer fiber reinforcement which is integrated in an at least largely transparent plastics matrix. The fiber reinforcement is formed by a visible layer in the form of a metallized glass fiber layer and at least one largely transparent structural layer. A touch display is also provided on a rear face of the fiber-reinforced plastics component facing the visible layer.
Structure of vehicle body
A structure of a vehicle body disclosed herein may include: an instrument panel; a steering column extending through an opening of the instrument panel toward a rear of the vehicle body, and having a steering wheel attached thereto; and a meter cluster panel provided such that the meter cluster panel surrounds a meter. The meter cluster panel may include: an upper cover portion provided such that the upper cover portion opposes at least a part of an upper portion of the meter; and a side cover portion provided such that the side cover portion opposes at least a part of a side portion of the meter. The side cover portion may extend from a position opposing the side portion of the meter toward the rear of the vehicle body and include a portion located closer to the rear of the vehicle body than the upper cover portion.
Conductive multilayer panel for the cockpit of vehicles, in particular motor vehicles
A panel intended for the cockpit of a vehicle is conductive so that a large number of electrical and electronic devices can be installed inside the cockpit. The panel has a structure consisting of a plurality of layers of substantially equal shape and size, superimposed and firmly coupled to one another. One of the layers consists of a flexible printed circuit board that extends substantially over the entire surface of the panel, or at least over a substantial portion thereof, and that is provided with electrical connectors arranged at positions where the electrical and electronic devices associated with the dashboard are to be subsequently installed. Wired connections of electrical and electronic devices associated with the dashboard are eliminated. This entails a considerable simplification when making electrical connections to these electrical and electronic devices, as well as in the case of subsequent maintenance and/or repair work.
Component for vehicle interior
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a light guide to allow light transmission from a light source for a user interface, and a cover to cover the light guide. The user interface may be presented at the cover. The cover may comprise a depression in an inner surface of the cover and the light guide may comprise a projection comprising a light-transmissive resin fit within the depression. The projection may comprise an icon to be presented at the user interface when illuminated, and to be hidden by the cover when not illuminated. The user interface may comprise a light display and an input device connected to a sensor. The icon may comprise an image. The cover thickness may be greater than the projection height.
