Method for operating a dish washing machine and dish washing machine
In a method for operating a dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, items to be washed arranged in an interior of the dishwasher are washed during a wash program. A quantity of a specific gas in the interior is determined during the wash program, and a hygiene program is started and/or a notification is outputted to a user of the dishwasher relating to a start of the hygiene program as a function of the determined quantity of the specific gas.
Chemical dosing system
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive an electrical signal from the appliance.
Dishwasher, method and control system for handling clogging condition
A method for handling a clogging condition in a dishwasher may include detecting the clogging condition; upon detecting the clogging condition, interrupting a wash cycle of the dishwasher and executing a remedial operation to remove the clogging condition. The remedial operation may include executing a drain operation for a predetermined drain time during which a drain pump may be continuously or intermittently operated to drain water from a sump of the dishwasher; following the drain operation, executing a fill operation for a predetermined fill time during which a fill valve may be continuously or intermittently activated to add water to the dishwasher; and following the fill operation, executing a circulation operation during which a circulation pump may be continuously or intermittently operated to remove the clogging condition. A dishwasher and a control system for handling a clogging condition are also provided.
Dishwasher
An air jet generator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an impeller which applies centrifugal force to washing water flowing in a forward direction; a decompression portion which decreases a pressure of the washing water that flows; an air suction portion which is opened to allow air to flow into the decompression portion; a pressing portion which increases pressure so as to crush the air introduced from the air suction portion; an air tap which has a plurality of holes so as to crush the air contained in the washing water that passed through the pressing portion; and a reverse spray nozzle which sprays the washing water toward the air tap in a reverse direction.
DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
Dishwasher, in particular household dishwasher, with a washing compartment a control device for carrying out a washing program from a number of washing programs and with an automatic dosing device for automatically dosing a plurality of dosing quantities from a supply a cleaning agent present as a solid in the washing area, the control device for cleaning the automatic dosing device being set up to control the automatic dosing device to switch to a cleaning state and to control the automatic dosing device for cleaning the automatic Dosing device to carry out a specific wash program from the number of wash programs.
A CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. Dish washing machine
Disclosed is a dishwasher (10). The dishwasher (10) comprises a body (101), an air passage (102), catalyst pieces (103) having nanometer titanium dioxide, and an ultraviolet lamp (104) used for emitting ultraviolet light to the catalyst pieces (103). An accommodating cavity (1011) used for accommodating tableware is defined in the body (101). A gas inlet (1012) and a gas outlet (1013) are defined in the wall of the accommodating cavity (1011). An air outlet of the air passage (102) is in communication with the gas inlet (1012), and an air inlet of the air passage (102) is in communication with the gas outlet (1013). The catalyst pieces (103) are disposed in the air passage (102). The ultraviolet lamp (104) is disposed in the air passage (102).
Appliance and method for cleaning context detection
A system and method for cleaning context detection and appliance operation are provided. The system includes a first appliance communicatively coupled to a second appliance to receive and transmit signals therebetween. The first appliance and the second appliance each include a controller configured to execute operations. The operations include receiving, at the first appliance, a first control signal corresponding to executing a cleaning mode at the first appliance; transmitting, from the first appliance, a second control signal to the second appliance, the second control signal corresponding to a cleaning state; and generating, at the second appliance, a third control signal corresponding to executing the cleaning mode at the second appliance.
Secure remote testing of household appliances
Household appliances and methods of testing are provided. The household appliance includes a mechanical component and a controller in operative communication with the mechanical component. The controller has a partitioned memory. The partitioned memory includes a testing partition and a control partition. The controller is configured for and/or the method includes authorizing a user of the household appliance and verifying a personality of the a household appliance. Testing software is loaded into the testing partition of the memory of the controller. The testing software is executed from the testing partition, whereby the mechanical component of the household appliance is operated. The method also includes and/or the controller is also configured for exiting remote testing mode after executing the testing software and deleting the testing software from the partitioned memory when exiting the remote testing mode.
Automated cleaning machine processing using shortened cycle times
An automated cleaning machine may include one or more short cleaning cycles in which the duration of a cleaning cycle is shortened relative to the duration of a default cleaning cycle. During a short cleaning cycle, other cleaning cycle parameters may also be adjusted to ensure that the articles subjected to the short cleaning cycle are adequately cleaned and sanitized. For example, the wash temperature, rinse temperature, and/or cleaning product amounts or concentrations, may be adjusted to account for the shortened duration of the cleaning cycle. The automated cleaning machine may further include one or more short cycle mode(s) during which short cleaning cycle parameters are used and one or more default cycle mode(s) during which default cleaning cycle parameters are used.
