The indication portion has a sign including at least one of a character, a symbol and a figure. The cover portion covers a periphery of the sign of the indication portion. The sign is illuminated by light emitted by a light source and guided to the indication portion. The cover portion is configured such that a recess from a surface of the cover portion is provided in a region corresponding to the sign of the indication portion.

Device for operating multiple functions in a motor vehicle

A device for operating multiple functions includes an operating element and a base. The base has side bearings and pins. The operating element has rotational axle end sections mounted in guide slots of the side bearings, respectively, to pivotably be mounted to the base about an axis of rotation to thereby be movable between at least two positions. At least one of the positions is assigned to a switching function. The operating element is further mounted to the base on a centered bearing between the side bearings of the base, and the operating element is supported on the pins of the base.

Vehicle switch device

A vehicle switch device has a selection switch having an operation part that, when operated, selects at least one of a plurality of driving target vehicle components mounted on a vehicle, and an operation switch that is separately operable from the selection switch, and drives the selected driving target vehicle component when operated. The operation switch has a single holding operation knob that swings so as to have a front portion thereof pushed down or pulled up. The single holding operation knob is structured to allow a palm of a hand to be placed on an upper face thereof, and fingers of the hand other than a thumb to be placed on the front portion. The operation part is disposed on a side face of the holding operation knob.

Device for operating multiple functions in a motor vehicle

A device for operating multiple functions includes an operating element and a base. The base has side bearings with guide slots, hinge joints with pivot pins, and an actuator. The operating element is mounted in the guide slots to pivotably be mounted to the side bearings about an axis of rotation to thereby be movable between positions. At least one of the positions is assigned to a switching function. The operating element is mounted to the base on a centered bearing between the side bearings. The operating element is supported on the pivot pins. Upon the operating element being actuated to trigger a switching function, the actuator produces a haptic feedback by generating an actuating force on the operating element which causes the pivot pins to pivot in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation thereby causing the operating element to axially displace along this same direction.

An operation control system for a work apparatus equipped to a work vehicle includes a controller controlling the work apparatus. A first hydraulic valve and a second hydraulic valve control hydraulic pressure supply to the work apparatus. An operation unit provides an operation input signal to the controller. A first mounting base and a second mounting base are provided adjacently to each other in the operation unit. A first single-operation tool is formed mountable on the first mounting base and a second single-operation tool is formed mountable on the second mounting base. Further, a multi-operation tool is mountable so as to straddle both the first mounting base and the second mounting base.

OPERATING UNIT FOR AN ELECTRICAL APPARATUS, IN PARTICULAR FOR A VEHICLE COMPONENT

The invention relates to an operating unit (10) for an electrical apparatus, in particular a vehicle component such as, for example, a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning installation, which is provided with a housing (12) having a front wall (14), with an operating strip (18) that projects beyond the front wall (14), which has an elongated operating surface (20) with a plurality of adjacently arranged operating fields (22, 24, 26, 28, 30), and with a support element (32) for the operating strip (18), which is arranged in the housing (12). The operating strip (18) is connected to the support element (32) by means of connecting webs (48) which protrude in the respective areas between the operating panels (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) of the operating strip (18). Flexible webs (50), which protrude from the operating strip (18) for each operating field and are connected to the support element (32), are arranged between the connecting webs (48), namely in an elastic manner and more flexible than the connections of the operating strip (18) to the support element (32) via the connecting webs (48). At least one operating field actuation sensor (70, 72) for detecting a local bending of the operating strip (18), when a manual actuating force is exerted on a operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) of the operating strip (18), is arranged on the support element (32) for each flexible web (50). In addition, the operating unit (10) comprises an evaluation and operating unit (78) for receiving the signals of the operating panel actuating sensors (70, 72) and for determining, on the basis of said signals, the operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) on which, upon manual actuation of the operating strip (18), the finger of one hand is applied, and for triggering an apparatus function that is associated with the respective operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) corresponding to the determined operating field (22, 24, 26, 28, 30).

A method represents an environment via a display unit arranged on a person and visible for the person as a display image within the scope of a simulation. The simulation is carried out in an interaction environment, wherein a number of actuatable interaction elements are arranged in the interaction environment. An interaction environment image capture, depicting the interaction environment, is created by use of a first image capturing unit arranged on the person or relative to the person. A position of the person is determined in the interaction environment and based on the position of the person an environment image is provided. An image mask is provided which depicts the individual interaction elements contained in the interaction environment image capture and is represented in the display image. The interaction environment image capture and the environment image are superimposed using the image mask and then displayed on the display unit.
