INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing device comprising a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to acquire vehicle information related to a vehicle, and, from among a plurality of instances of evaluation information including praise information for praising driving of a driver of the vehicle and including criticism information for criticizing the driving of the driver, cause one of the instances of evaluation information to be output from an output section provided in the vehicle, during driving of the vehicle, based on the acquired vehicle information.
Methods and apparatus for categorization of vehicle loading and display thereof
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for categorization of vehicle loading and display thereof. An example apparatus includes a vehicle load condition manager programmed to categorize a first load data and second load data associated with a vehicle, compare a summation of the first and second load data to a threshold, and generate an alert for display via a user interface when the summation of the first and second load data exceeds the threshold.
Method and apparatus for identifying the opening state of a garage door
A method and a device for detecting the opening state of a garage door or the like, such as a door that restricts entry by a vehicle are provided. A control apparatus generates a predetermined light pattern. A headlight apparatus projects the predetermined light pattern onto the door, while a camera apparatus detects the light pattern projected onto the door. The control apparatus compares the light pattern detected by the camera apparatus with the predetermined light pattern and outputs information signals according to the differences between the detected light pattern and the predetermined light pattern. The differences determine the opening state of the door.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AUXILIARY VEHICLE FUNCTIONS
A system and method of controlling auxiliary vehicle functions via one or more touchpads on the vehicle steering wheel is disclosed. In response to receiving a user input at one of the touchpads, the vehicle performs a corresponding action depending on the region of the touchpad in which the input was received and the context in which the vehicle is currently operating. During operation, the vehicle displays, on a display screen of the vehicle (e.g., the HUD), a contextual control image indicating which actions will be performed in response to various inputs entered at one or more of the touch pads on the steering wheel. In this way, the steering wheel can accept an input for a variety of auxiliary functions.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO FOR CATEGORIZATION OF VEHICLE LOADING AND DISPLAY THEREOF
Systems and Methods for Communicating Intent of an Autonomous Vehicle
The present disclosure provides systems and methods to communicate intent of an autonomous vehicle. In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can receive, from an autonomy computing system of an autonomous vehicle, data indicating an intent of the autonomous vehicle to perform a driving maneuver. It can be determined that the intent of the autonomous vehicle should be communicated to a passenger of the autonomous vehicle. Responsive to determining that the intent of the autonomous vehicle should be communicated to the passenger of the autonomous vehicle, a graphical interface indicating the intent of the autonomous vehicle can be generated and provided for display for viewing by the passenger.
Cluster for vehicle
A cluster for a vehicle may include a center module including a center display unit, and a side module mounted to a side surface of the center module, and including a side display unit and the side module may be removably coupled to the center module.
Method of controlling a content displayed in an in-vehicle system
A system and method for controlling an in-vehicle infotainment system to control content in using a primary display includes a mobile device and the in-vehicle infotainment system in communication with the mobile device. The in-vehicle infotainment system comprises the primary display and a first secondary display. The in-vehicle infotainment system receives a first content selection signal for a first content. The first secondary display displays the first content in response to the first content selection signal. The primary display displays a content identifier corresponding to the first content.
Vehicle door interface interactions
Techniques for interacting with authorized and unauthorized users by a door interface component are discussed herein. A vehicle computing device can implement the door interface component and/or an authentication component to control operation of a door of the vehicle or initiate a communication for assistance. For instance, the door interface component can include a button, that provides different visual indicators and functionality based on whether the user is authorized to enter the autonomous vehicle (e.g., open a door or provide visual indicators for the user to select to cause the door to open) or to request to move the vehicle, initiate hiring the vehicle, or call for help when the user is unauthorized to enter the autonomous vehicle.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
To provide a vehicle display device with high reliability from the viewpoint of functional stability. A vehicle display device of the present disclosure includes a display displaying an image and a multicore causing the display to display an image representing vehicle information. The includes a first processor core performing normal display control under which the display is caused to display the vehicle information in normal times, and a second processor core performing alternative display control under which the display is caused to display the vehicle information in a false display state where the vehicle information is not correctly displayed on the display under the normal display control.
