A selection unit configured to select data for setting a region based on the intersection position and the travel trajectory of the other vehicle as a monitoring region when performing driving assistance in a case where the intersection position is specifiable by the specifying unit. The selection unit selects data that has been partially deleted from the data acquired by the acquisition unit based on the intersection position.

Consequently, it is possible for a plurality of displays in the vehicle to display identical images in a synchronized state.

A system for gaze-based control of vehicle functions and related methods includes eye contact sensors for monitoring one or both eyes of a user, manual input devices, and circuits configured for tracking a gaze of a user located within a vehicle, identifying a gaze condition from the eye contact sensors in response to determining the gaze of the user is directed to an object of interest in the vehicle for at least a predetermined dwell-time, receiving a manual input from the manual input devices, activating a command interaction associated with the object of interest in response to identifying the gaze condition and receiving the manual input, receiving, while the command interaction is active, a command associated with the object of interest from the user, and initiating a vehicle function based on the received command.

The signal processing device includes a processor configured to perform signal processing for a display located in a vehicle, wherein the processor is configured to execute first to third virtual machines on a hypervisor in the processor, the second virtual machine is operated for a first display, the third virtual machine is operated for a second display, and the first virtual machine in the processor is configured to share at least some of data with the second virtual machine and the third virtual machine for processing of divided data. Consequently, the plurality of virtual machines for the plurality of displays in the vehicle may divide and process data.

A method of displaying information on a head-up display of a vehicle comprises determining a direction of gaze of a driver of the vehicle and selecting a display mode from a group of display modes based on the direction of gaze. Each display mode of the group of display modes defines information to be displayed on the head-up display. The group of display modes comprises at least a normal mode and an extended mode. Information displayed in the extended mode differs from information displayed in the normal mode. The method further comprises displaying the information on the head-up display according to the selected display mode.
