System and method for promoting connectivity between a mobile communication device and a vehicle touch screen
Systems and methods for promoting connectivity between a mobile communication device having a touch screen and a vehicle touch screen installed in a vehicle are disclosed. According to an embodiments, a system may include a controller configured to: connect to the mobile communication device and to the vehicle touch screen. The controller may also be configured to receive video signal of a current screen video image shown on the touch screen of the mobile communication device and transmit the current video image to the vehicle touch screen, causing a corresponding video image of the current screen video image to be displayed on the vehicle touch screen. The controller may further be configured to receive a signal indicative of a touch action that was performed on the vehicle touch screen, and cause the mobile communication device to respond as if a touch action corresponding to the touch action that was performed on the vehicle touch screen was performed on the touch screen of the mobile communication device.
Coupling of user interfaces
A method and system couples a first user interface with a second user interface. The first user interface is implemented in the form of a mobile terminal or one or more back-end components. The second user interface is implemented in the form of a control device of a vehicle. The method includes the steps of: registering one or more elements of the first user interface; determining one or more display elements based on first heuristics and the one or more elements, wherein the one or more display elements are configured to reproduce at least one portion of the one or more elements; and displaying the one or more display elements on the second user interface. The system has the control device and/or the one or more back-end components, wherein the control device and/or the one or more back-end components are configured to carry out the method.

A system for generating a display image on one or more vehicle gauges includes a controller area network (CAN bus) chip, a converter chip, and one or more vehicle gauges. The converter chip includes a plurality of ports and embedded software for converting digital data from the controller area network (CAN bus) chip to analog signals. Each vehicle gauge is electrically connected to at least one port of the plurality of ports. The controller area network (CAN bus) chip is electrically connected via a first plurality for wires to the converter chip. The one or more vehicle gauges includes at least one vehicle gauge selected from the group consisting of a speedometer, a battery power gauge, a battery state of charge gauge, an electric motor temperature gauge, a battery temperature gauge, and a check motor gauge.
