A vehicle control apparatus and a vehicle control method are disclosed. The vehicle control apparatus includes an inputter, a setting module, a determiner, and a controller. The inputter receives at least one collision avoidance operation signal from a collision avoidance device, and receives information about a current object detected by a sensing device. The setting module establishes a collision sensitive region for each driver upon receiving an ON mode signal from among the collision avoidance operation signals. The determiner determines whether the received current object information is present in a range of the established collision sensitive region for each driver. If the current object information is present in the range of the established collision sensitive region for each driver, the controller controls the collision avoidance device to perform a collision avoidance operation at a target time point earlier than a predetermined reference time point.

This disclosure relates to a system configured to present in-vehicle content based on characterization of products. The system may be coupled to a vehicle. The system may include one or more physical processors. The processor(s) may obtain user information specifying individual sets of products interacted with by individual users prior to a ride in the vehicle. The processor(s) may identify in-vehicle content specific to individual subsets of products having one or more values of one or more product attributes in common. The processor(s) may control one or more vehicle components coupled to the vehicle to provide the in-vehicle content.

The method for remapping controls in a vehicle includes the acts of receiving a data block from an operator, evaluating the data block, selecting a stored vehicle, generating a vehicle configuration based on the selected stored vehicle provided in the data block, and configuring a plurality of configurable vehicle controls according to the vehicle configuration.

A vehicle seat haptic system includes a vehicle seat and a controller. The vehicle seat includes a plurality of discrete haptic zones defined across the vehicle seat, and a plurality of actuators positioned in the plurality of haptic zones and configured to generate a haptic output. The present invention relates to a display gauge, particularly used in a cab of a motor vehicle. The display gauge comprises a display unit and a control unit, the display unit having a stationary warning zone, the control unit being connectable with different types of sensors to receive sensor signals, wherein the display gauge further comprises a coded selector that can be operated by a user, the selector being electrically connected to the control unit to transmit to the control unit a signal indicative of a type of a current sensor signal selected by the user, and the control unit controls display of the display unit according to a value of the current sensor signal, so that a state in which the value of the current sensor signal reaches a warning value range can be displayed through the warning zone regardless of the type of the sensor. The present invention allows to display multiple types of sensor signals by a single display gauge, and to exhibit different functions or sensor signal types with different symbols or icons.
