System and method for vehicle control integrating health priority alerts of vehicle occupants
A method for vehicle control includes receiving data associated with one or more wearable computing devices. Each of the one or more wearable computing devices are associated with one or more vehicle occupants in the vehicle. The method includes determining a health state of each of the one or more vehicle occupants based on the data and determining a location relative to the vehicle of each of the one or more vehicle occupants based on the data. The method includes controlling one or more vehicle systems based on the health state of each of the one or more vehicle occupants and the location relative to the vehicle of each of the one or more vehicle occupants.
Privacy management
One or more embodiments of techniques or systems for privacy management are provided herein. In one or more embodiments, privacy management may be provided by adjusting the way a system provides notifications, handles communications, or executes applications based on the presence or positioning of one or more occupants within a vehicle. In other words, a vehicle may provide notifications in a first manner when merely a driver is present but provide notifications in a second manner (e.g., different than the first manner) when an additional occupant is detected. Sensors may be utilized to detect the presence or positioning of occupants and communications or applications may be managed accordingly. In this manner, privacy management is provided, thus enhancing security of applications or communications utilized by occupants of a vehicle, such as a driver, for example.
REAL-TIME AUTONOMOUS SEAT ADAPTATION AND IMMERSIVE CONTENT DELIVERY FOR VEHICLES
Various systems and methods for content adaptation based on seat position or occupant position in a vehicle are described herein. An example implementation for content adaptation based on seat position in a vehicle includes: obtaining sensor data, the sensor data including a seat position of a seat in the vehicle; identifying audiovisual content for output to a human occupant in the vehicle; identifying an occupant position of the human occupant, based on the seat position, for a user experience of the output of the audiovisual content; and cause one or more adjustments to the output of the audiovisual content in the vehicle, via an output device, based on the identified position of the human occupant.
Fully designable vehicle information panel interface
Provided are systems and methods for facilitating a user to configure and retrieve personalized settings for a fully designable information panel in a driving apparatus. The information panel system may be configured to store a plurality information panel configurations. Different information panel configurations may correspond to different users of the driving apparatus. Users may be identified when inside the driving apparatus by capturing their biometric information. Following identification, an information panel configuration corresponding to the identified user may be retrieved and configured on a display device. The displayed information panel configuration may include a user customized graphic. The user customized graphic may be modified by the identified user with a color, shape, or text modification. The modification may be dependent on different metrics regarding vehicle operation or performance.
Methods and systems for customizing vehicle connections of occupants equipped with wearable devices
Systems and methods for customizing connections to a vehicle of one or more occupants equipped with a wearable device. The system a memory that stores instructions for customizing connections to a vehicle of one or more occupants equipped with a wearable device. The system also includes a processor configured to execute the instructions. The instructions cause the processor to: detect one or more occupants of the vehicle equipped with a respective wearable device; determine a status of each of the one or more occupants equipped with the wearable device based on one or more motions; and customize the connections to the vehicle based on the status of each of the one or more occupants.
Operating Device for a Motor Vehicle and Method for Operating an Operating Device
An operating device for a motor vehicle having a driving mode and a stationary mode includes an operating part, by which an operating process can be executed for a communication device, and a control device coupled to the operating part. The control device is designed to provide the driver of the motor vehicle with a first selection of operating options for the communication device in the stationary mode and a second selection of operating options for the communication device in the driving mode. The operating options of the second selection are chosen according to the degree of automation of the driving mode.
Reconfigurable optics for multi-plane heads-up displays
Embodiments are disclosed for display configurations for providing an augmented reality heads up display. In one example, a mirrorless heads up display device includes a display, at least one micro lens array, an optical element comprising a lenticular lens or parallax barrier positioned between the display and the at least one micro lens array, and a display controller comprising a processor and memory storing instructions executable by the processor to control the display to output image light that passes through the lenticular lens or parallax barrier and the at least one micro lens array and impinges on a transparent plane to form a three-dimensional image.
Dynamic information protection for display devices
A system for controlling visual protection for a display unit includes a camera which is configured to generate a video signal; a video signal processing unit which is configured, based on the video signal of the camera, to determine a particular position of each of one or more persons relative to the display unit and to determine a particular viewing direction of one of the one or more persons; a database which is configured to generate a prediction for a behaviour of each of the one or more persons based on the particular position and viewing direction of each of the one or more persons detected by the video signal processing unit, wherein the prediction includes one or more predicted viewing directions of the particular person; and a display control unit which is configured to control the visual protection for the display unit based on the prediction.
Media stream playing method and apparatus
A media stream playing method includes: obtaining a first attribute parameter set when detecting that a first passenger views a first media stream played on a first vehicle-mounted screen, where the first attribute parameter set includes an identity of the first passenger and the first vehicle-mounted screen viewed by the first passenger; and when determining that attention of the first passenger is lost from the first vehicle-mounted screen, if determining, based on a stored second attribute parameter set, that a second vehicle-mounted screen that is viewed by a second passenger is the first vehicle-mounted screen, indicating to continue playing the first media stream on the first vehicle-mounted screen, where the second attribute parameter set includes an identity of the second passenger and the second vehicle-mounted screen.
Infotainment system permission control while driving using in-cabin monitoring
An apparatus comprising an interface and a processor. The interface may be configured to receive pixel data of an interior of a vehicle. The processor may be configured to process the pixel data arranged as video frames, perform computer vision operations to detect objects in the video frames, extract characteristics about the objects detected, associate movement of a body part to a particular person and generate a control signal in response to the movement of the body part. A device is configured to operate in a locked mode that prevents input when the vehicle is in motion. The control signal is configured to enable the device to receive the input when the device is in the locked mode. The control signal may be generated only when the particular person associated with the movement corresponds to an occupant in the vehicle that is not a driver of the vehicle.
