DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application discloses a display adjustment method and apparatus. One example method includes: A display adjustment apparatus may obtain sensing information, where the sensing information is used to determine a facial area of a target user. The display adjustment apparatus may further adjust, based on a position of the facial area, a position of a display corresponding to the target user, so that an adjusted position of the display is suitable for the user to view.
Method for the performance-enhancing driver assistance of a road vehicle with an augmented reality interface
A method for the performance-enhancing driver assistance of a road vehicle driven by a driver comprises the steps of: determining the current position and orientation of the road vehicle, detecting a plurality of environmental data concerning the surrounding environment, detecting a plurality of dynamic data of the vehicle, determining the current position and orientation of a helmet within the road vehicle and suggesting to the driver, by means of an augmented reality interface device, one or more corrective actions to be carried out in order to accomplish a mission optimizing a cost function.
Haptic generator for panels of vehicles and interior panel for vehicles using same
A haptic generator for panels of vehicles and an interior panel for vehicles using the same are proposed. The haptic generator includes a first coupling member with a first end integrally coupled to at a rear surface of a panel, a casing coupled to a second end of the first coupling member, a haptic actuator stored in the casing and configured to generate haptic vibration, a second coupling member with a first end integrally coupled to the rear surface of the panel, a support member coupled to a second end of the second coupling member, a touch sensor coupled to the rear surface of the panel with a predetermined distance from the support member, a PCB panel supported by the support member, and a display provided on a portion of a surface of the panel and configured to supply information about a switch.
HEADS-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM
A heads-up display system includes a re-positionable projector that projects an image of data to any one of a plurality of image positions on a windshield. With the image being centered in front of a vehicle operator, the image defines a predetermined aspect ratio. An electronic controller is configured to compensate for distortion of the image and maintain the predetermined aspect ratio in response to the image being moved away from the centered position.
Method and apparatus for controlling vehicular user interface under driving condition
A method for controlling an in-vehicle user interface includes: providing a vehicle window that serves as an input/output module engaged with at least one of a computing device, a camera and a multimedia device; monitoring whether a change of an air pressure at a neighboring area of the vehicle window is beyond a predetermined threshold range; sensing a touch input via the vehicle window; and generating, in response to the change of the air pressure and the touch input, a control signal of the input/output module.
WORK VEHICLE HAVING DISPLAY UNIT FOR DISPLAYING FUEL CONSUMPTION AMOUNT
A work vehicle includes a main key having an ON position for enabling electric power supply to electric devices and an OFF position for stopping the electric power supply to the electric devices, an engine information acquiring section configured to acquire engine information including a fuel supply amount from an engine controlling section that calculates the fuel supply amount to the engine, a momentary fuel consumption amount calculating section configured to calculate a momentary fuel consumption amount based on the engine information, a total fuel consumption amount calculating section configured to calculate, based on the engine information, a total fuel consumption amount which is a total amount of fuel used from an ON state to an OFF state of the main key, and a display controlling section configured to selectively display the momentary fuel consumption amount and the total fuel consumption amount on a display unit.
VEHICULAR INPUT APPARATUS
A vehicular input apparatus includes a gesture sensor, an external device controller, and an output stop unit. The gesture sensor detects a gesture that is a non-contact gesture. The external device controller outputs an operation signal corresponding to the gesture detected by the gesture sensor to a first external device. When the gesture sensor detects the gesture, the output stop unit causes the external device controller to stop outputting the operation signal in response to a detection signal from at least one of a contact sensor and a proximity sensor for manipulating a second external device. The external device controller outputs the operation signal to the first external device after a second predetermined period of time.
ID-BASED CONTROL UNIT-KEY FOB PAIRING
A method for pairing a key fob with a control unit is provided. The key fob executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with a pairing device based on a key fob identification to authenticate one another and to generate a first encryption key. The pairing device encrypts a control unit identification using the first encryption key. The key fob receives the encrypted control unit identification transmitted from the pairing device. The key fob then executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with the control unit based on the control unit identification to authenticate one another and to generate a second encryption key. The key fob then receives an operational key transmitted from the control unit that is encrypted with the second encryption key.
Method and apparatus for controlling vehicular user interface under driving circumstance
A method for controlling an in-vehicle user interface includes monitoring a driving mode of a vehicle, determining, in response to the driving mode, whether to provide at least one window as an input/output module allowing a driver or a passenger to interact with at least one of a computing device, a camera, and a multimedia device provided in, or engaged with, the vehicle, and outputting a notification through the window in response to a determination result.
Systems with textured light-scattering films
A window or other component may have glass layers and an interposed polymer layer in which a textured light-scattering layer with a diffuse reflectivity is embedded. The textured light-scattering layer may have a textured polymer carrier film coated with a partially reflective layer such as a metal layer. The polymer carrier film may be textured to cause gaps to form within the partially reflective layer. The gaps may be patterned to form ohmic heating current paths or other signal paths through the partially reflective layer. The partially reflective layer may also serve as an electrode in a light modulator such as a liquid crystal light modulator or other light modulator. Images may be projected onto the textured light-scattering layer. The light-scattering layer may also help extract light from a light guiding layer adjacent to the partially reflective layer.
