The invention relates to a control and display module for motor vehicles, comprising: a display screen for displaying data; a capacitive touchpad for entering user commands, said touchpad at least partially overlapping the display screen; and a casing in which the display screen and the touchpad are housed, said casing comprising a front frame. The control and display module also comprises a retaining protective film having a thickness of between 0.5 and 1.2 mm, which is attached to the external edges of the front frame of the casing, the touchpad being secured at the rear of said film in a suspended manner.

An instrument cluster assembly having a biasable member for reducing noise produced by vibration, where the instrument cluster assembly includes a light housing, a perimeter sidewall formed as part of the light housing, and at least one biasable member integrally formed with the perimeter sidewall. A mask is selectively connected to the light housing, and an inner perimeter sidewall is formed as part of the mask. The biasable member includes a base portion formed with the perimeter sidewall, and a flange portion integrally formed with the base portion. At least a portion of the flange portion is in contact with the inner perimeter sidewall of the mask, such that the flange portion deflects to absorb vibration between the light housing and the mask.

A large-sized head up display unit can be reasonably provided in an inner portion of an instrument panel. A column bracket to mount a steering column (5) is provided at a lower portion of a vehicle body strength member (4) extending in a vehicle width direction disposed in a vehicle rear side of a front wall panel (1) of a vehicle interior. A head up display unit (21) is mounted on the column bracket to be movable to a vehicle upward direction by an emergency input load from a vehicle front direction.

The adjustment device includes a support structure and a clamping device, wherein the clamping device is configured to be displaced along a first axis and comprises a first clamping element and a second clamping element arranged opposite to the first clamping element and forming a clamping gap together with the first clamping element, wherein the clamping device is configured to receive and clamp an adjustment lever of the reflection device between the first clamping element and the second clamping element, wherein the first clamping element and the second clamping element are made of separate parts, and wherein the first clamping element and the second clamping element are rotatably coupled to each other about a second axis.

The display panel can be coupled to the mounting bracket and the frame member can be connected to a back side of the cover substrate.
