An external electric vehicle battery thermal management system is described. An electric vehicle thermal system provides external coolant to an internal battery thermal system of an electric vehicle. The internal battery thermal system includes a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger to cool or warm the set of batteries of the electric vehicle. The external coolant is pumped through a first side of the heat exchanger and serves as the source to cool or heat internal coolant pumped through a second side of the heat exchanger. The external coolant and the internal coolant do not mix.

Disclosed is a system for determining a hydrogen supply failure of a fuel cell, the system including: a fuel cell, a plurality of hydrogen tanks having hydrogen, a hydrogen supply line connected to the hydrogen tanks and supplying hydrogen from the hydrogen tanks to the fuel cell, a plurality of tank valves mounted on the hydrogen tanks, respectively, and discharging hydrogen in the hydrogen tanks to the hydrogen supply line when opening, a pressure sensor sensing pressure in the hydrogen supply line, and a determiner determining poor opening of the hydrogen tanks on the basis of pressure information sensed by the pressure sensor.

The method includes setting torque distributions for the plurality of electric motors on the basis of a driving force required by the electric vehicle controlling the drive of the plurality of electric motors on the basis of the set torque distributions and circulating intermittently the lubricant used for cooling the first electric motor when the torque distribution set for the first electric motor is smaller than a predetermined value which is regarded as a reference value.

A railway carriage has a number of batteries, a charger associated with each of the batteries and at least one piece of equipment powered by the batteries, and a vehicle monitoring system. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor of a battery state parameter for each battery, a communication network adapted to receive information from each sensor of a battery state parameter and from each charger, and to transmit the received information to a processor. The processor is adapted to process information relating to a battery whose associated charger is switched off or defective using the information received for the other batteries.

A method for discharging at least one battery cell of a battery for a motor vehicle in the event of at least one specific detected fault concerning the battery. The specific fault is detected and, depending on the detection of the fault, an emergency discharge process for at least partially discharging the at least a battery cell is initiated. In doing so, the at least one battery cell is at least partially discharged during the emergency discharge process via at least one on-board electrical consumer of the motor vehicle external to the battery and/or a power supply system external to the motor vehicle.

The sensor section is connected by data-communicating to the at least one line element for forwarding the at least one detected battery characteristic. Furthermore, the invention relates to a battery stack having at least one battery plane with at least one battery cell and a detection device.

A hybrid air mobility system is capable of flying a long distance through effective operation of an engine and batteries. The hybrid air mobility system includes a fuselage configured to supply power to a propeller and electric equipment, the fuselage being provided with a duct including an inlet and an outlet so as to circulate air to the engine and the electric equipment; a deflector rotatably installed at the outlet of the duct so as to convert a discharge direction of exhaust gas generated by the engine and cooling air after cooling the electric equipment; and a controller configured to determine whether or not the engine is driven and to control a rotated position of the deflector depending on an amount of driving of the engine so as to selectively adjust movement of the exhaust gas and the cooling air towards the propeller.

An mobile solar powered EV charging station consists of an inflatable solar concentrator based hybrid solar thermal and photovoltaic subsystem with thermoelectric activated thermal storage to store thermal storage and regenerate electric power; a battery bank subsystem to store the cogenerated electric energy from the hybrid solar thermal and photovoltaic subsystem; an electric driving subsystem to make the entire system mobile; and a control subsystem to coordinate all of the subsystem to work. The mobile EV charging station is not only able to generate electric power locally to charge EVs, but also able to transport power from solar powered EV changing station network and power grid to the sites where EVs are located.
