Method for controlling the longitudinal dynamics of a vehicle
A method for controlling the longitudinal dynamics of a vehicle, where the vehicle has a friction brake system brakes, a drive system with an electromotive drive acting on at least one wheel, and a battery for supplying power to the electromotive drive determines state information which describes the state of the vehicle and/or the state of the brake system and/or of the drive system. Route information is determined which describes the route profile of the vehicle. An action plan for implementing a future braking request by the friction brakes and/or the electromotive drive on the basis of the state information and the route information is determined. The action plan specifies, for future times and/or areas on the route, whether a braking request of the vehicle is to be implemented by means of the friction brake and/or the drive system and implements a braking request accordingly.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE, CONTROL UNIT, MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating a motor vehicle, which includes a drive system, including an electric drive machine, a friction braking system and an actuating element. The actuating element is continuously movable between a first end state and a second end state, a position of the actuating element in the first end state corresponding to a percentage value of 0%, and the position of the actuating element in the second end state corresponding to a percentage value of 100%. An acceleration torque for the motor vehicle is predefined if the positon has a percentage value that is greater than a predefined threshold value, and a deceleration torque for the motor vehicle being predefined if the position has a percentage value that is less than the threshold value. The friction braking system is activated in such a way that the friction braking system generates at least partially the predefined deceleration torque.
Vehicle Control Device, Vehicle Control Method, and Vehicle Control System
A vehicle control device, a vehicle control method, and a vehicle control system according to the present invention estimate, in response to a deceleration command to a vehicle, the first deceleration generated by a frictional braking force based on characteristics of deceleration with respect to a force acting on a friction pad of a frictional braking device, determine the second deceleration by subtracting the first deceleration from the deceleration command, output the first command for generating the frictional braking force based on the deceleration command, and output the second command for generating the regenerative braking force based on the second deceleration. This allows compensating for uncertainty in achieving deceleration by frictional braking, and improving the accuracy of the actual deceleration with respect to the deceleration command.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR A TROLLEY COMPRISING A MECHANICAL BRAKE ALLOWING FOR A SAFE ROCKING PATTERN
Wheel assembly (200) a self-propelling trolley (100), comprising a wheel (111,112); an electric motor (151,152) arranged to perform a rocking drive pattern; an electric connector (220), arranged to connect the motor (151,152) to a battery (156); and a mechanical brake (230) activatable so that a rotational movement of the wheel (111,112) is limited, The invention is characterised in that the mechanical brake (230) is arranged so that, in an engaged state, the wheel (111,112) can turn freely in relation to the trolley (100) across a ground distance of between 5 and 20 cm between a first rotary limit position and a second rotary limit position. The movement limitation is provided by several elongated concentric tracks interacting with a pin.
POWER GENERATION FROM VEHICLE WHEEL ROTATION
An apparatus may generate energy in response to a vehicle wheel rotation. The apparatus may include a roller, a shaft, and a generator. The roller may rotate in response to a movement or motion of the wheel and may apply a friction to the wheel to decrease a rotational velocity of the wheel. The shaft may rotate in response to a rotation of the roller. The generator may generate an electrical output based on rotation of the shaft and convey the electrical output to an energy storage device or to a motor of the vehicle.

Method for Operating a Brake System of a Vehicle
A method for operating a brake system of a vehicle, where the vehicle has an electric machine usable for a regenerative braking of the vehicle and a drive unit usable in an overrun operation for an overrun braking of the vehicle, includes detecting an initiation of deceleration of the vehicle and detecting a driving situation suitable for regeneration. The method further includes initiating the overrun operation of the drive unit and the overrun braking of the vehicle and activating the regenerative braking so as to achieve a setpoint total regeneration torque. The regenerative braking is activated only after a limit value for a difference between an actual overrun regeneration torque by the overrun braking and a setpoint overrun regeneration torque is undershot.
