Method for estimating state of charge, liquid reduction amount of electrolyte solution of valve regulated lead-acid battery, and device for monitoring valve regulated lead-acid

A method for estimating a state of charge of a valve regulated lead-acid battery includes; an overcharge amount identification step of identifying an overcharge amount when the lead-acid battery is overcharged after an arbitrary reference time; an open circuit voltage acquisition step of acquiring an open circuit voltage of the lead-acid battery after the reference time; and a state-of-charge estimation step of estimating a state of charge of the lead-acid battery based on the acquired open circuit voltage and a correlation between an open circuit voltage and state of charge in which a rate of change of the state of charge with respect to the open circuit voltage is smaller as the overcharge amount from the reference time until an acquisition time of the open circuit voltage is larger.

Methods and systems for activating electric vehicles are provided. One method includes, in response to a first command to activate the vehicle, transitioning the vehicle from an inactive state to a wake state where a controller of the vehicle is activated and the vehicle is prevented from being propelled by an electric motor of the vehicle. The method also includes, in response to receiving a second command to activate the vehicle after receiving the first command, transitioning the vehicle from the wake state to a ready state where the vehicle is permitted to be propelled by the electric motor.

System for facilitating connection between a charging station and a rechargeable power supply on an operating unit

A system for facilitating operative connection between a charging station and a rechargeable power supply on an operating unit that is propelled by a drive, powered by the power supply, as to move over a subjacent surface. At least one connector is provided on the charging station and the operating unit. The connectors are configured to cooperate and establish an operative connection between the charging station and the operating unit. The operating unit is movable from a position spaced from the charging station into a charging position whereupon the connectors assume an engaged relationship. One of the charging station and the operating unit has a flat blade and the other of the charging station and operating unit has an elongate slot. The flat blade is movable guidingly within the elongate slot as the operating unit moves into the charging position.

Battery managing system, battery managing method, and terminal device

The user can readily determine a battery station where a battery exchange can be performed without fail. A management server searches a battery station that suits a battery configuration of an electric vehicle operated by each user according to management information on the battery configuration thereof, and to transmit a guidance screen for guiding the user to the searched battery station to the terminal device carried by the user. In particular, the user is guided to a station where the number of fully charged battery devices in a battery exchanger is equal to or greater than the number of battery devices used by the electric vehicle.
