STATION-BUILDING POWER-SUPPLY DEVICE AND METHOD OF CALCULATING REGENERATION DETERMINING VOLTAGE VALUE
A station-building power-supply device includes: a detector that detects a ripple in an overhead line voltage and outputs information on the detected ripple and an overhead line voltage value; a determiner that compares the information with a threshold for determining whether a ripple is in the overhead line voltage, and outputs the overhead line voltage value obtained when a ripple is determined to be not in the overhead line voltage based on the comparison result; an estimator that estimates, based on the overhead line voltage value, a no-load voltage value of an overhead line in a no-load state; a controller that sets an additional value; and a calculator that adds the additional value to the no-load voltage value to calculate a regeneration determining voltage value for determining whether an electric vehicle performs regeneration, and outputs the regeneration determining voltage value to a circuit that utilizes energy generated by the regeneration.
VEHICLE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A vehicle system includes an instructing portion that issues open/close instructions for a charging disconnector, a discharging disconnector, and a pair of contactors. A diagnosis start determination portion determines a diagnosis start timing before entering a trolleyless section. A remaining battery capacity checks whether a battery unit has a battery capacity necessary in a trolleyless section travel. A relay operation check portion checks operability of a charging disconnector, the discharging disconnector, and the pair of contactors based on certain open/close states of a plurality of relays depending on the open/close instructions. An abnormality determination portion determines trolleyless section travel is not allowed when the relay operation check portion is incapable of checking operability or necessary remaining battery capacity, the remaining battery capacity check portion, the relay operation check portion, and the abnormality determination portion being operated when the diagnosis start determination portion determines that it is diagnosis start timing.
Movable structure driving unit
A movable structure driving unit is a movable structure driving unit used for a movable structure, including: an electric motor that is electrically connected to a power supply and that drives a front wheel; a rear-side motive power source that drives a rear wheel; a jump detector that detects a jump of the front wheel from ground; and a motor controller that controls driving of the electric motor. The motor controller stops supply of a driving current from the power supply to the electric motor when the jump of the front wheel from the ground is detected in a state in which driving of the front wheel and the rear wheel is instructed.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASSISTING VEHICLE TO TILT, VEHICLE AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for assisting a vehicle to tilt includes: receiving a first torque instruction output by a throttle assembly, and generating a second torque instruction, in which the first torque instruction is determined based on a manipulation degree applied to the throttle assembly, and the second torque instruction is determined based on attitude information of the vehicle; performing a weighted summation on the first torque instruction and the second torque instruction based on a first proportional coefficient of the first torque instruction and a second proportional coefficient of the second torque instruction to obtain a third torque instruction; and outputting the third torque instruction to a motor controller, and controlling a tilt angle of the vehicle by the motor controller based on the third torque instruction, in which the tilt angle of the vehicle is less than or equal to a target angle threshold.
Software-defined vehicular powertrain and method of operation
A software-defined powertrain transmits commands to at least 4 distributed polyphase motor controllers. A single vehicle control unit transforms operator control indicia into a plurality of individual commands, and securely transmits said commands to each one of a plurality of independent motor controllers mechanically coupled to a single wheel by a polyphase electric motor. The motor controllers are DC to variable AC electrical converters which each receives phase and magnitude requirements. A mixed criticality operating system provides an encrypted application-programming interface to operate functions such as torque vectoring, cooling, braking, and battery management. The OS provides an isolated trust zone to each of a plurality of cores for authentication and validation.
HYBRID AIRCRAFT
A hybrid aircraft that flies by using a plurality of rotors (takeoff and landing rotors and cruise rotors) includes a generator, a battery charged with power generated by the generator, a plurality of electric motors that rotate the respective rotors by the power generated by the generator and power supplied from the battery, and a controller that sets a target remaining capacity of the battery according to a flight state of the aircraft and controls charging and discharging of the battery so that the remaining capacity of the battery approaches the target remaining capacity.
METHOD TO CONTROL A ROAD VEHICLE DURING A SLIP OF THE DRIVE WHEELS
A method to control a road vehicle during a slip of the drive wheels and having the steps of: detecting a slip of at least one drive wheel; and controlling, only during a slip of at least one drive wheel, a driving unit of the road vehicle with a signalling law so as to obtain a cyclic operating irregularity, which generates an abnormal vibration and/or an abnormal noise.
VEHICLE TRAVEL CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE TRAVELING DEVICE
A vehicle travel control device is provided for controlling traveling of a vehicle by controlling a travel driving device that drives a traveling motor with power of a battery assembly, wherein, when an abnormality has occurred in a battery monitoring device that monitors a state of the battery assembly, time-series changes of a remaining capacity are calculated on the basis of a remaining capacity of the battery assembly at a time of the occurrence of the abnormality and a battery current of the battery assembly after the occurrence of the abnormality, and the travel driving device is controlled on the basis of the remaining capacity obtained by the calculation.
VEHICLE HEAT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A heat management system for vehicles comprises: a first circulation circuit which cools an engine body of an internal combustion engine and includes a first pump for pressure-feeding a refrigerant; a second circulation circuit including an exhaust heat recovery apparatus for recovering exhaust heat from the internal combustion engine, a heater core used for air-conditioning of a vehicle, and a second pump for pressure-feeding the refrigerant; communication passages allowing the first circulation circuit to communicate with the second circulation circuit; and an on-off valve provided in the first communication passage, and switching between the communication between the first circulation circuit and the second circulation circuit and the preventing of communication therebetween, wherein the on-off valve is controlled such that the refrigerant temperature of the first circulation circuit is higher than that of the second circulation circuit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RESOLVING HILL START CONDITIONS
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative systems for performing hill stall/start assist functions. An illustrative drive unit controller receives a zero-speed command and electric motor information, generates a torque command based on the received zero-speed command and the electric motor information, and instructs a drive unit inverter for an electric motor in response to the generated torque command.
