An information processing system includes a controller that controls the supply route of electric power in a house, a determining unit that determines, based on the driving schedule of an electric vehicle, necessary energy with which the car battery of the electric vehicle should be charged, and a detector that detects first charge energy with which the car battery is charged. The controller selects, based on the necessary energy and the first charge energy, which one of electric power supplied from a power company and electric power supplied from the car battery is to be consumed in the house.

Control device for hybrid vehicle

A control device for a hybrid vehicle includes a push-start mode and a motor start mode. The push-start mode transmits a driving force from driving wheels to the engine via a first transmission route at a speed detected by a speed detection means equal to or more than a predetermined speed to start the engine. The motor start mode starts the engine using a driving force of the motor at a speed equal to or less than the predetermined speed as well as in a stopped state. At a speed outside a speed range that either mode is executable when a start command of the engine occurs in driving only using the electric motor as the driving source, a control means performs the driving force reduction control for reducing a driving force transmitted from the electric motor to the driving wheels of the vehicle.

The output recovering device also includes a current supplier configured to supply a current to the fuel cell stack and a controller configured to communicate with the vehicle controller and control the current supplied from the current supplier.

Methods and Systems for Performing Diagnostic Processes with Reduced Processing Time

Operation for performing diagnostics, such as vehicle diagnostics including short circuit and low impedance diagnostics during a high-voltage (HV) battery pre-charging a power-net of the vehicle and including insulation resistance monitoring diagnostics for measuring an insulation resistance between the power-net and another power-net, with reduced processing time includes measuring a physical parameter (voltage or current signal) as the parameter is being generated by a device-under-test to which the diagnostic process pertains. The diagnostic process requires a stable value of the parameter. The parameter variates while being generated during a beginning time and is stable while being generated during an ending time. While the parameter is being generated during the beginning time, a stable value of the parameter which the parameter will have during the ending time is predicted. The stable value of the parameter is predicted based on variation of measured values of the parameter during the beginning time.

Wireless battery charging system having emergency shutdown for a traction battery of an electric vehicle

A vehicle-side, electronic charging device of a wireless battery charging system receives, converts and feeds energy into a rechargeable traction battery of an electric vehicle traction motor. The traction battery is charged by an external charging system via a wireless link and the vehicle-side charging device. The vehicle-side charging device includes a first LC resonant circuit between first and second output ports, and a current rectifier having first and second AC voltage inputs and first and second DC voltage outputs. Either (i) the first and second DC voltage outputs of the current rectifier, or (ii) the first and second AC voltage inputs of the current rectifier, or (iii) the first and the second output ports of the first LC resonant circuit, or (iv) a first and a second connection of the reception coil are switchably connected to one another via an actuable kill switch.

A method for controlling a first vehicle includes receiving based on a vehicle parking spot locator request, a solar radiance dataset indicative of historic solar radiance at a first parking location of a localized vehicle parking region, and determining, based on the solar radiance dataset, that a predicted solar energy production at the first parking location is greater than any other prediction for available parking location in the parking region during the parking duration. The method includes determining, based on the solar radiance dataset, a first vehicle orientation at the first parking location. The first vehicle orientation provides a maximized probability of solar exposure during the parking duration. The method further includes causing the processor to position the first vehicle in the first parking location and the first vehicle orientation, and charging a first vehicle battery during the parking duration.
