Torque deration in response traction control events
A method, apparatus, and system are disclosed for incrementally derating a torque applied by a drivetrain in response a number of traction control events detected by a traction control system over a predetermined time period.
Battery pack management device
A battery pack management device capable of reducing power consumption while transmitting and receiving data between a master BMS and a slave BMS by using a wireless communication method. The battery pack management device according to the present disclosure includes: a master BMS including an external communicator, an internal communicator, and a master controller and a slave BMS including a power supply, a state measurement sensor, a slave wireless communicator, and a slave controller.
BATTERY PRECONDITIONING MANAGEMENT FOR VEHICLES OF A DISTRIBUTED NETWORK
A method of controlling battery preconditioning in a vehicle includes determining a first preconditioning characteristic of a first battery of a first vehicle relative to a charging station. The method further includes transmitting the first preconditioning characteristic. The method further includes receiving, from a second vehicle, a second preconditioning characteristic of a second battery relative to the charging station. The method further includes comparing the first preconditioning characteristic and the second preconditioning characteristic to determine a preconditioning ranking for the first vehicle and the second vehicle. The method further includes determining a queue of the first and second vehicles for the charging station using the preconditioning ranking of the first and second vehicles.
ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE AND ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD THEREOF
Submitted is an abnormality detection device including a processing unit, and a communication unit that can communicate with a ground electric power supply device that transmits electric power to a vehicle in a non-contact manner. The processing unit is configured to detect electricity theft or electricity leakage in the ground electric power supply device, based on a time dependent change pattern of an electric power supply amount of the ground electric power supply device or a parameter that is correlated to the electric power supply amount, the time dependent change pattern being a time dependent change mode.
System and method for controlling vehicle thermal management apparatus
A system and method for controlling a vehicle thermal management apparatus, may include a component state unit of collecting a state of a vehicle component, a disturbance collection unit of collecting a state of a disturbance affecting thermal management of the vehicle component, a determination unit of calculating an amount of heat exchange between the vehicle component and a thermal management apparatus, which is required in the future, based on a past state value of the vehicle component collected through the component state unit and a past state value of the disturbance collected through the disturbance collection unit, and an operation unit of controlling operation of the thermal management apparatus based on the amount of heat exchange determined by the calculation unit.
METHOD FOR THE PERFORMANCE-ENHANCING DRIVER ASSISTANCE OF A ROAD VEHICLE
A method for the performance-enhancing driver assistance of a road vehicle driven by a driver and provided with at least two drive wheels driven by at least one electric motor connected to a corresponding vehicular battery pack; the method comprises the steps of defining a dynamic model of the road vehicle; determining a route of a track travelled by the road vehicle; calculating, as a function of the dynamic model of the road vehicle and of the route, a convenience index relative to the use of energy of the vehicular battery pack by the electric motor; subdividing the route (R) into a plurality of sectors assigning to each a relative value of the calculated convenience index; delivering electrical power to the drive wheels according to the value of the convenience index assigned to each sector of the route.
COORDINATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
A vehicle scheduling system includes a server that, responsive to receiving a charge request for a vehicle, generate output identifying a list of business entities within a predefined maximum distance of a target charging station that are ranked according to a match with a user profile associated with the vehicle and an incentive offer from at least one of the business entities. The server also, responsive to receiving input selecting one of the business entities, place a reservation with the one of the business entities according to an estimated time of arrival of the vehicle at the one of the business entities.
APPARATUSES AND A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING OCCUPANCY AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING ACTIVITY AT PARKING SPACES
A system and method monitors occupancy and electric vehicle charging activity at parking spaces to optimize charging availability and to electric vehicles and parking/charging control systems using various obtained data, and the use of the data to compute and dynamically adjust parking regulations, charging time and resulting alerts to customers and facility operators, to improve the management of energy consumption and control and manage as well as increase parking/charging station utilization.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
The vehicle control device controls a vehicle configured to receive power by non-contact from a power transmission coil when passing over the power transmission coil. The vehicle control device includes a processor configured to set a target speed of the vehicle in a power supply area where the power transmission coil is installed. The processor is configured to lower the target speed when at least one predetermined condition is satisfied, compared to when the at least one predetermined condition is not satisfied. The at least one predetermined condition includes a first condition relating to a running environment around the vehicle.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING MANAGEMENT METHODS AND SYSTEMS WITH FLEXIBLE ADJUSTMENT OF CHARGING SCHEDULE
Electric vehicle charging management methods and systems with flexible adjustment of charging schedule are provided. A server executes an energy management scheme to determine a target power parameter value for a charging operation of each electric vehicle charging station, and perform the charging operations accordingly for respective electric vehicles. A specific charging demand of a specific electric vehicle charging station or a specific electric vehicle is received, wherein the specific charging demand includes at least a demand time. In response to the specific charging demand, the target power parameter value corresponding to the charging operation of the specific electric vehicle charging station is adjusted, wherein the power of the specific electric vehicle at the time of demand will be higher than a predetermined power value.
