Video laryngoscope and video laryngoscope insertion section
A video laryngoscope and elongate laryngoscope insertion section for a video laryngoscope, comprising a viewing port through which an imaging device within the insertion section can obtain images of a larynx, the insertion section extending between a distal end for insertion into a subject and an opposite proximal end, and having an inferior surface and an opposed superior surface, wherein the insertion section comprises a proximal region where the insertion section extends through a subject's teeth in use, a distal region extending to the distal end and an intermediate region therebetween, wherein the inferior surface of the insertion section comprises or consists of a curved region which extends from the proximal region through the intermediate region to the distal region, wherein the curved region of the inferior surface is continuously longitudinally curved along the length of the longitudinally curved region and wherein the longitudinal curvature of the curved region of the inferior surface varies in the intermediate region. Markings on an elongate laryngoscope insertion can be used to monitor depth of insertion and to indicate a path by which an endotracheal tube should be inserted.
Devices, systems, and methods for providing sealable access to a working channel
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to valve configurations providing sealable access for medical instruments to a working channel, such as a working channel for an endoscope.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DISPOSABLE ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope device is provided. The device comprises: an elongate member comprising a proximal end and a distal end, and a camera is located at the distal end of the disposable elongate member; one or more external guiding elements configured to guide an articulation movement of the distal end of the elongate member, and each of the one or more external guiding elements is individually controlled; and a handle component removably attached to the proximal end of the elongate member.
Endoscope
An endoscope includes an insertion portion provided with a controllable curved tube. The controllable curved tube includes a plurality of circular tube sections connected in series. A first C-shaped engaging portion is arranged at one end of each tube section. A first included angle is formed between the opening direction of the first C-shaped engaging portion and the axial direction of the tube section to which the first C-shaped engaging portion belongs. A first C-shaped notch is arranged around the outside of the first C-shaped engaging portion. The other end of the tube section is provided with a second C-shaped engaging portion that is engaged with the first C-shaped notch of another tube section. The inner side of the second C-shaped engaging portion is provided with a second C-shaped notch and a spherical protrusion which are engaged with a first C-shaped engaging portion of another tube section.
Capsule core and capsule endoscope
A capsule core and a capsule endoscope are provided. The capsule core includes a printed circuit board module, connecting structures and functional units. The printed circuit board module includes more than more printed circuit boards connected through flexible circuit boards and spaced apart. The connecting structures connect adjacent printed circuit boards. The functional units are mounted on the printed circuit boards or the connecting structures, and at least part of the functional units communicates with the printed circuit boards.
ENDOSCOPIC FLEXIBLE TUBE, ENDOSCOPIC MEDICAL APPARATUS, AND ENDOSCOPIC-FLEXIBLE-TUBE-BASE-COVERING MATERIAL
An endoscopic flexible tube including a flexible-tube base containing metal as a constituent material, and a cover layer covering an outer periphery of the flexible-tube base, wherein the cover layer includes a polyester having a naphthalene structure and a component having an action of inhibiting a reaction of an active species such as a radical, an endoscopic medical apparatus including the endoscopic flexible tube, and a covering material for the endoscopic flexible-tube base.
MEDICAL SYSTEM
A medical system according to the present invention comprises: a medical device comprising an insertion part comprising an angulating part, and angulation wires attached to the angulating part; and an actuator, detachably connected to the medical device, that electrically actuates the angulation wires to angulate the angulating part. The angulation wires comprise a first angulation wire and a second angulation wire. When the medical device is not attached to the actuator, the first angulation wire and the second angulation wire are in a mechanically connected looped state. When the medical device is connected to the actuator, the first angulation wire and the second angulation wire are in a second state in which the two are independently electrically actuated.
Endoscope device
For determining a precise orientation and positioning of an endoscope in an electromagnetic field, an endoscope device has a proximal insertion head and has a shaft extending distally therefrom having a center axis. The shaft extends with at least one elongated lumen through the device. A sensor rod has at least two sensor coils arranged with finite spacing in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction. The at least two sensor coils are oriented in relation to one another at a finite angle.
Hermetic seal and a method of assembling
A hermetic seal between an optical element and a metal mount or housing using a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer is dispersed along the interior edge of the metal mount. The metal mount and fluoropolymer are then heated to a temperature exceeding the melting point of the fluoropolymer. Once heated the optical element is pressed into the metal mount and allowed to cool. The metal mount, optical element and thickness of fluoropolymer are sized to provide an interference fit between the metal mount and optical element.
STEERING ASSEMBLY FOR AN ENDOSCOPE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A SINGLE USE ENDOSCOPE
A steering assembly for an endoscope, the steering assembly including a first steering member rotatable around a rotation axis for bending a tip of the endoscope in a first directional plane, a second steering member rotatable around the rotation axis for bending the tip of the endoscope in a second directional plane, a first shaft mechanically engaged by a first form locking key connection with the first steering member for transmitting a torque induced by the first steering member to a first wire drum, a second shaft mechanically engaged by a second form locking key connection with the second steering member for transmitting a torque induced by the second steering member to a second wire drum, wherein the first shaft and the second shaft are arranged coaxially to each other.
