The processor estimates a first guess shape based on information about positions of a plurality of points on the first tube, and estimates a second guess shape based on information about positions of two points on a proximal end side of a region of the first tube inserted into the body.

At least a first holder of the two holders is provided with an insertion hole for inserting and passing the ends of the wire toward an outside from between the two holders.

A coating film is provided in a cable, a medical hollow tube, a molded article and a hollow tube. The coating film is formed from a rubber composition including a rubber component and fine particles. A static friction coefficient on a surface of the coating film is 0.5 or less. When the coating film is subjected to a testing such that a long fiber non-woven fabric including cotton linters including an alcohol for disinfection with a length of 50 mm along a wiping direction is brought contiguous to the surface of the coating film at a shearing stress of 2×10.sup.−3 MPa to 4×10.sup.−3 MPa, followed by wiping off the surface of the coating film at a speed of 80 times/min to 120 times/min and 20,000 repetitions thereof for a wiping direction length of 150 mm, a difference (an absolute value of a difference) between the static friction coefficients of the coating film before and after the testing is not greater than 0.1.

The elongated shaft including: an inner shaft tube in which an optical system is received; an outer shaft assembly including an outer shaft tube and a tubular support body proximally abutting the outer shaft tube; at least one bundle of optical fibers disposed between the inner shaft tube and the outer shaft tube; and an electrical connector arranged between the inner shaft tube and the support body. Where the support body includes at least a first web and a second web each extending radially between an inner surface of the support body and an outer surface of the inner shaft tube, the first web and the second web also extending in a longitudinal direction of the shaft such that an annular space between the inner shaft tube and the support body is divided into at least two segments.

Disclosed is an intra-oral scanning system including: a scanning device including at least a first magnetic induction coil; a replaceable scanning tip including at least a second magnetic induction coil; the scanning tip being removably connected to the scanning device; wherein the at least first and second magnetic induction coils are configured to provide power transfer and/or a communication signal between the scanning device and the scanning tip during operation of the scanning system.
